Eight Precepts with Livelihood as the Eighth
活命八戒 အာဇီ၀႒မကသီလ
Requesting 請求活命八戒 သီလေတာင္း
အဟံဘေႏၱ တိသရေဏန သဟ အာဇီ၀႒မကသီလံ
ဓမၼံ ယာစာမိ အႏုဂၢဟံ ကတြာ သီလံ ေဒထ ေမ ဘေႏၱ။
Aham, bhante, tisaraena saha
ājīva-tthamaka-sīlam dhammam yācāmi, anuggaham katvā sīlam detha me, bhante.
May
I, Venerable Sir, observe the Eight Precepts
with Livelihood as the Eighth together with the three Refuges, Venerable Sir, please have
compassion on me and grant me the Precepts.
尊者，我乞求三歸和以活命為第八的戒法。尊者，在攝受後請把戒授給我！
ဒုတိယမၸိ-
အဟံဘေႏၱ တိသရေဏန သဟ အာဇီ၀႒မကသီလ

Tatiyam'pi,

Monk: What I recite you (your) follow.

Laity: Yes, Venerable Sir.

Tisaraa Three Refuges
三皈依 သရဏဂံု (၃)ပါး
ဗုဒၶံ
သရဏံ ဂစၦာမိ။
Buddham
saranam gacchāmi.
I take refuge in the
Buddha.
我皈依佛，
ဓမၼံ
သရဏံ ဂစၦာမိ။
Dhammam
saranam gacchāmi.
I take refuge in the Dhamma .
我皈依法，
သံဃံ
သရဏံ ဂစၦာမိ။
Samgham
saranam gacchāmi.
I take refuge in the Samgha.
我皈依僧；
ဒုတိယမၸိ
ဗုဒၶံ သရဏံ ဂစၦာမိ။
Dutiyam'pi
Buddham saranam gacchāmi.
For the second time, I take refuge in
the Buddha.
第二次
我皈依佛，
ဒုတိယမၸိ
ဓမၼံသရဏံ ဂစၦာမိ။
Dutiyam'pi
Dhammam saranam gacchāmi.
For the second time, I take refuge in the Dhamma.
第二次我皈依法，

Samgham saranam gacchāmi.
For the second time, I take refuge
in the Samgha.
第二次我皈依僧；
တတိယမၸိ
ဗုဒၶံ သရဏံ ဂစၦာမိ။
Tatiyam'pi
Buddham saranam gacchāmi.
For the third time, I take refuge
in the Buddha.
第三次
我皈依佛，
တတိယမၸိ ဓမၼံ သရဏံ ဂစၦာမိ။
Tatiyam'pi Dhammam saranam
gacchāmi
For
the third time, I take refuge in the Dhamma.
第三次我皈依法，
တတိယမၸိ သံဃံ သရဏံ ဂစၦာမိ။
Tatiyam'pi Samgham saranam
gacchāmi.
For
the third time, I take refuge in the Samgha.
第三次我皈依僧；
(ရဟန္း) တိသရဏဂမနံ ပရိပုဏၰံ။
Bhante:
Tisarana gamanam paripunnam.
Monk: The Three
Refuges are complete.
尊者：三歸依已經圓滿。

၁။ ပါဏာတိပါတာ ေ၀ရမဏိသိကၡာပဒံ
သမာဒိယာမိ။
1. Pānātipātā veramaī sikkhāpadam samādiyāmi.
I undertake the precept to
abstain from destroying living beings.
我受持離殺生學處。
၂။ အဒိႏၷာဒါနာ ေ၀ရမဏိသိကၡာပဒံ သမာဒိယာမိ။
2. Adinnādānā veramaī sikkhāpadam samādiyāmi.
I undertake the
precept to abstain from stealing.
我受持離不與取學處。
၃။ ကာေမသု မိစၦာစာရာ ေ၀ရမဏိသိကၡာပဒံ သမာဒိယာမိ။
3. Kāmesu
micchācārā veramaī sikkhāpadam samādiyāmi.
I undertake the
precept to abstain from sexual misconduct.
我受持離欲邪行學處。
၄။ မုသာ၀ါဒါ ေ၀ရမဏိသိကၡာပဒံ သမာဒိယာမိ။
4. Musā-vādā
veramaī sikkhāpadam samādiyāmi.
I undertake the
precept to abstain from false speech.
我受持離虛誑語學處。
၅။ ပိသုဏ၀ါစာ ေ၀ရမဏိသိကၡာပဒံ သမာဒိယာမိ။
5. Pisunā-vācā veramaī sikkhāpadam samādiyāmi.
I undertake the
precept to abstain from slandering speech.
我受持離離間語學處。
၆။ ဖရုသ၀ါစာ ေ၀ရမဏိသိကၡာပဒံ သမာဒိယာမိ။
6. Pharusāvācā
veramaī sikkhāpadam samādiyāmi.
I undertake the
precept to abstain from harsh speech.
我受持離粗惡語學處。
၇။ သမၹပၸလာပ၀ါစာ ေ၀ရမဏိသိကၡာပဒံ သမာဒိယာမိ။
7. Samphappalāpavācā veramaī sikkhāpadam samādiyāmi.
I undertake the precept to
abstain from idle speech.
我受持雜穢語學處。
၈။ မိစၦာဇီ၀ါ ေ၀ရမဏိသိကၡာပဒံ သမာဒိယာမိ။
8. Micchājīvā veramaī sikkhāpadam samādiyāmi.
I undertake the precept to abstain from wrong
livelihood.
我受持離邪命學處。
ဣဒံေမပုညံ အာသ၀ကၡယာ ၀ဟံေဟာတု။
Idam
me puñña āsavakkhayāvaham hotu.
May
this merit of mine be conducive to the destruction of the [mental] effluents.
願我這功德，導至諸漏滅盡。
ဣဒံေမပုသီလံ နိဗၺာနႆ ပစၥေယာ ေဟာတု။
Idam
me sīlam nibbānassa paccayo hotu.
May
this merit of observing precepts a condition [for the realization] of Nibbāna.
願我這戒（功德），成為（證悟）涅槃的助緣。
(ရဟန္း) တိသရေဏန သဟ အာဇီ၀႒မက
သီလံ ဓမၼံ သာဓုကံ သုရကၡိတံ ကတြာ အပၸမာေဒန သမၸာေဒထ။
Bhante: Tisaraena saha
ājīva-tthamaka-sīlam dhammam
sādhukam surakkhitam katvā appamādena sampādetha.
Monk:
Maintaining well the eight precepts with livelihood as the eighth together with
the three refuges, strive on with diligence.
尊者：在完全地守護了三歸和以活命為第八的戒法後，當不放逸地努力（成就）。
(လူ) အာမ ဘေႏၱ၊
Upāsakā: Āma, bhante.
Laity:
Yes, Venerable Sir.
居士：是的，尊者。
