ဓမၼပဒ Dhammapada, 法句 ေကာက္ႏႈတ္ခ်က္မ်ား (၁၈)




၁၇။ ေကာဓ၀ဂ ၢ
Kodhavaggo 憤怒品
၂၂၁။ ေကာဓံ ဇေဟ ၀ိပၸဇေဟယ် မာနံ၊ သံေယာဇနံ သဗၺမတိကၠေမယ်။
တံ နာမ႐ူပသၼိမသဇၨမာနံ၊ အကိဥၥနံ နာႏုပတႏၲိ ဒုကၡာ။

၂၂၁။ အမ်က္ေဒါသကို စြန္႔ရာ၏၊ မာနကို ပယ္ရာ၏၊ သံေယာဇဥ္မွန္သမွ်ကို ေက်ာ္လြန္ရာ၏၊ နာမ္႐ုပ္၌ မၿငိတြယ္ မေၾကာင့္ၾကသူထံသို႔ ဆင္းရဲဒုကၡတို႔သည္ မက်ေရာက္ကုန္။

221. Put away anger, abandon pride and overcome bondage. Whoever clings not to the constituents of existence (Nama-rupa, mind and matter) and to nothing whatsoever, sufferings never befall him.

၂၂၂။ ေယာ ေ၀ ဥပၸတိတံ ေကာဓံ၊ ရထံ ဘႏၲံ၀ ၀ါရေယ။
တမဟံ သာရထႎ ျဗဴမိ၊ ရသၼိဂၢါေဟာ ဣတေရာ ဇေနာ။

၂၂၂။ လိမၼာေသာရထားထိန္းသည္ လ်င္ျမန္စြာေျပးသြားေသာရထားကို လမ္းမလြဲေအာင္ ေစာင့္ေ႐ွာက္ႏုိင္သကဲ့သို႔ ျဖစ္ေပၚလာေသာ အမ်က္ေဒါသကို စင္စစ္ တားျမစ္ႏုိင္သူကို လိမၼာေသာ ရထားထိန္းဟူ၍ ငါဆို၏၊ ဤမွတစ္ပါး ျပကေတ့ရထားထိန္းသည္ ရထားၾကိဳးကိုင္သာမည္၏။

222. One who controls rising anger as a chariot controls his carriage at full speed not going off the track, that one I call a true charioteer, others merely rein-holders.

  saññojanam sabbam atikkameyya;
  tam namarupasmim asajjamanam,
  akiñcanam nanupatanti dukkha.

  他應捨棄憤怒,應徹底捨離傲慢,應走越過一切的結合;在名及形色之中,諸苦的不隨落下在未正在執著、無任何的他。

222 Yo ve uppatitam kodham,
  ratham bhantam va dharaye,
  tam aham sarathim brumi,
  rasmiggaho itaro jano.

  凡是確實能制止已被上升的憤怒,如[制止]已被旋轉的車,我說他是御者,其他的人[]握持韁繩者。

၂၂၃။ အေကၠာေဓန ဇိေန ေကာဓံ၊ အသာဓံု သာဓုနာ ဇိေန။
ဇိေန ကဒရိယံ ဒါေနန၊ သေစၥနာလိက၀ါဒိနံ။

၂၂၃။ အမ်က္ထြက္ေသာသူကို ေမတၱာတရားျဖင့္ေအာင္ရာ၏၊ မေကာင္းေသာ သေဘာ႐ွိသူကို ေကာင္းေသာသေဘာျဖင့္ ေအာင္ရာ၏၊ ႏွေျမာ၀န္တိုေသာသူကို ေပးကမ္းျခင္းျဖင့္ ေအာင္ရာ၏၊ မဟုတ္မမွန္ ေျပာသူကို အဟုတ္အမွန္ ေျပာဆိုျခင္းျဖင့္ ေအာင္ရာ၏။

223. One would conquer anger by loving-kindness, one would conquer evil by good, one would conquer the mean by generosity, and one would conquer the man who speaks lies by truth.

၂၂၄။ သစၥံ ဘေဏ န ကုေဇၩယ်၊ ဒဇၨာ အပၸမၸိ ယာစိေတာ။
ဧေတဟိ တီဟိ ဌာေနဟိ၊ ဂေစၧ ေဒ၀ါန သႏၲိေက။

၂၂၄။ မွန္ေသာစကားကို ေျပာဆိုရာ၏၊ အမ်က္မထြက္ရာ၊ ေတာင္းလာသည္႐ွိေသာ္ အနည္းငယ္မွ်ကိုေသာ္လည္း ေပးလွဴရာ၏၊ ဤအေၾကာင္းသံုးပါးတို႔ျဖင့္ နတ္ျပည္သို႔ေရာက္ရ၏။

224. Let one tell the truth, let one not be angry, when asked, let one give, even be it a little. By these three factors, one would attain the world of gods (Deva).

  asadhum sadhuna jine,
  jine kadariyam danena,
  saccen’alikavadinam.

224 Saccam bhane na kujjheyya,
  dajja appampi yacito,
  etehi tihi thanehi,
  gacche devana santike.

  應說真諦、不應憤怒,已被乞求者即使少量亦應贈與;以這三地方,他在諸天的附近可以去到。

၂၂၅။ အဟႎသကာ ေယ မုနေယာ၊ နိစၥံ ကာေယန သံ၀ုတာ။
ေတ ယႏၲိ အစၥဳတံ ဌာနံ၊ ယတၳ ဂႏ႖ာ န ေသာစေရ။

၂၂၅။ သူတစ္ပါးတို႔ကို မညႇဥ္းဆဲတတ္၊ ကာယဒြါရစသည္တို႔ျဖင့္ အျမဲေစာင့္စည္းတတ္ကုန္ေသာ ရဟႏၲာပုဂၢဳိလ္တို႔သည္ စိုးရိမ္ျခင္းကင္းရာ ေသျခင္းကင္းရာျဖစ္ေသာ နိဗၺာန္အရပ္သို႔ ေရာက္ၾကရကုန္၏။

225. The Arahants who do no harm to others, who are always in control of the body, go to the immortal Nibbana, where once gone they sorrow no more.

၂၂၆။ သဒါ ဇာဂရမာနာနံ၊ အေဟာရတၱာႏုသိကၡိနံ။
နိဗၺာနံ အဓိမုတၱာနံ၊ အတၳံ ဂစၧႏၲိ အာသ၀ါ။

၂၂၆။ အခါခပ္သိမ္း ႏုိးၾကားထႂကြကုန္သည္ျဖစ္၍ ေန႔ညဥ့္ပတ္လံုး သိကၡာသံုးပါးကို က်င့္ၾကကုန္လ်က္ နိဗၺာန္သို႔ စိတ္ညြတ္ၾကသူတို႔အား အာသေ၀ါတရားတို႔ ခ်ဳပ္ျငိမ္းကြယ္ေပ်ာက္ၾကကုန္၏။

226. Those who are ever alert and watchful, who practice three discourses day and night with the intent upon Nibbana, their evil passions will come to an end.

225 Ahimsaka ye munayo,
  niccam kayena samvuta,
  te yanti accutam thanam,
  yattha gantva na socare.

  凡是無傷害的諸牟尼,經身常已被完全圍;他們行走到未脫離的地方[1],在此去後不悲傷。

226 Sada jagaramananam,
  ahorattanusikkhinam,
  nibbanam adhimuttanam,
  attham gacchanti asava.

နိႏၵႏၲိ တုဏွိမာသီနံ၊ နိႏၵႏၲိ ဗဟုဘာဏိနံ။
မိတဘာဏိမၸိ နိႏၵႏၲိ၊ နတၳိ ေလာေက အနိႏၵိေတာ။

၂၂၈။ န စာဟု န စ ဘ၀ိႆတိ၊ န ေစတရဟိ ၀ိဇၨတိ။
ဧကႏၲံ နိႏၵိေတာ ေပါေသာ၊ ဧကႏၲံ ၀ါ ပသံသိေတာ။

၂၂၉။ ယံ ေစ ၀ိညဴ ပသံသႏၲိ၊ အႏု၀ိစၥ သုေ၀ သုေ၀။
အစၧိဒၵ၀ုတၱႎ ေမဓာ၀ႎ၊ ပညာသီလသမာဟိတံ။

၂၃၀။ နိကၡံ ဇေမၺာနဒေႆ၀၊ ေကာ တံ နိႏၵိတုမရဟတိ။
ေဒ၀ါပိ နံ ပသံသႏၲိ၊ ျဗဟၼဳနာပိ ပသံသိေတာ။

၂၂၇။ အိုအတုလ ဤကဲ့ရဲ့ျခင္းသည္ ေ႐ွး႐ုိးစဥ္လာေပတည္း၊ ဤကဲ့ရဲ့ျခင္းသည္ ယခုမွျဖစ္သည္မဟုတ္၊ ဆိတ္ဆိတ္ေနသူကိုလည္း ကဲ့ရဲ့ကုန္၏၊ မ်ားစြာေျပာေဟာေသာသူကိုလည္း ကဲ့ရဲ့ကုန္၏၊ ႏႈိင္းခ်ိန္၍ ေျပာေသာ သူကိုလည္း ကဲ့ရဲ့ကုန္၏၊ ေလာက၌ အကဲ့ရဲ့လြတ္ေသာသူမည္သည္ မ႐ွိေပ။

၂၂၈။ လံုး၀အကဲ့ရဲ့ခံရသူ လံုး၀အခ်ီးမြမ္းခံရသူမည္သည္ ေ႐ွးကလည္းမ႐ွိခဲ့စဖူး၊ ေနာင္အခါလည္း ႐ွိလိမ့္မည္မဟုတ္၊ ယခုအခါ၌လည္းမ႐ွိ။

၂၂၉-၂၃၀။ မက်ဳိးမျပတ္ေသာ အက်င့္႐ွိေသာ ေဖာက္ခဲြႏုိင္ေသာပညာ႐ွိေသာ ပညာဂုဏ္ သီလဂုဏ္ သမာဓိ ဂုဏ္႐ွိေသာသူကို ပညာ႐ွိသူတို႔သည္ ဟုတ္မွန္စြာသိ၍ ေန႔တိုင္းေန႔တိုင္း ခ်ီးမြမ္းခဲ့ပါမူ ဇမၺဴရာဇ္ေ႐ႊစင္နိကၡႏွင့္ တူသူကို အဘယ္သူသည္ ကဲ့ရဲ့ႏိုင္ပါအံ့နည္း၊ ထိုသူကို နတ္တို႔သည္လည္း ခ်ီးမြမ္းကုန္၏၊ ျဗဟၼာမင္းသည္လည္း ခ်ီးမြမ္း၏။

227. It is an old saying, O Atula – not a new one, people find fault who stays silently, they find fault with one speaking much, and even with one who speaks moderately do they find fault. There is no one in this world who can escape not faulted.

228. There never was, there never will be, nor is there now, a man who is always blamed, or a man who is always praised.

229-230. But who would dare to blame the man whom the wise praise day after day, whose life is pure and full of light, in whom there is virtue and wisdom, who is pure as a pure coin of gold? Even the gods praise the man, even Brahma praises him.

227 Poranam etam Atula,
  netam ajjatanam iva,
  nindanti tunhim asinam,
  nindanti bahubhaninam,
  mitabhaninam pi nindanti,
  natthi loke anindito.

  na c’etarahi vijjati,
  ekantam nindito poso,
  ekantam va pasamsito.

  一向已被責難的人,或一向已被稱讚的[],既不曾變成,並且也將不變成,並且現在也不被知。

  anuvicca suve suve,
  acchiddavuttim medhavim,
  paññasilasamahitam.

  若日日隨知後[2],諸智者稱讚凡是行為無破綻者、有智者、已定於慧及戒者。

230 Nekkham jambonadasseva,
  ko tam ninditum arahati;
  deva pi nam pasamsanti,
  Brahmuna pi pasamsito.

၂၃၄။ ကာေယန သံ၀ုတာ ဓီရာ၊ အေထာ ၀ါစာယ သံ၀ုတာ။
မနသာ သံ၀ုတာ ဓီရာ၊ ေတ ေ၀ သုပရိသံ၀ုတာ။

၂၃၁။ ကိုယ္အမူအရာ ပ်က္စီးမႈ ကာယဒုစ႐ုိက္သံုးပါးကို ေစာင့္ေ႐ွာက္ရာ၏ ကာယဒြါရျဖင့္ ဒုစ႐ုိက္၀င္ေရာက္လာမႈကို တားျမစ္ပိတ္ပင္ရာ၏၊ ကာယဒုစ႐ုိက္ကိုပယ္စြန္႔၍ ကာယသုစ႐ုိက္ကို က်င့္ရာ၏။

၂၃၂။ ႏႈတ္အမူအရာပ်က္စီးမႈ ၀စီဒုစ႐ုိက္ေလးပါးကို ေစာင့္ေ႐ွာက္ရာ၏၊ ၀စီဒြါရျဖင့္ ဒုစ႐ုိက္ ၀င္ေရာက္လာမႈကို တားျမစ္ပိတ္ပင္ရာ၏၊ ၀စီဒုစ႐ုိက္ကိုပယ္စြန္႔၍ ၀စီသုစ႐ုိက္ကိုက်င့္ရာ၏။

၂၃၃။ စိတ္အမူအရာပ်က္စီးမႈ မေနာဒုစ႐ုိက္သံုးပါးကို ေစာင့္ေ႐ွာက္ရာ၏၊ မေနာဒြါရျဖင့္ ဒုစ႐ုိက္ ၀င္ေရာက္လာမႈကို တားျမစ္ပိတ္ပင္ရာ၏၊ မေနာဒုစ႐ုိက္ကို ပယ္စြန္႔၍ မေနာသုစ႐ုိက္ကို က်င့္ရာ၏။

၂၃၄။ ပညာ႐ွိသည္ ကိုယ္ျဖင့္၀င္ေရာက္လာေသာ ဒုစ႐ုိက္၊ ႏႈတ္ျဖင့္၀င္ေရာက္လာေသာ ဒုစ႐ုိက္၊ စိတ္ျဖင့္၀င္ ေရာက္လာေသာ ဒုစ႐ုိက္တို႔ကို တားျမစ္ပိတ္ပင္ႏုိင္ကုန္၏၊ ထိုပညာ႐ွိတို႔သည္သာ တားျမစ္ပိတ္ပင္သူတို႔ မည္ကုန္၏။

231. Guard against misdeeds caused by body, one should be restrained in body. Give up evil conduct of the body, but one should be of good bodily conduct.

232. Guard against misdeeds caused by words, one should be restrained in speech. Give up evil conduct in speech, but one should be of good conduct in speech.

233. Guard against misdeeds caused by mind, one should be restrained in thoughts. Give up evil conduct of mind, but one should be of good conduct in mind.

234. Those that are wise, whose body, words and mind are in self-control. They are indeed well-controlled.

231 Kayappakopam rakkheyya,
  kayena samvuto siya,
  kayaduccaritam hitva,
  kayena sucaritam care.
