တံ ဗုဒၶမနႏၲေဂါစရံ၊ အပဒံ ေကန ပေဒန ေနႆထ။

၁၈၀။ ယႆ ဇာလိနီ ၀ိသတၱိကာ၊ တဏွာ နတၳိ ကုဟိဥၥိ ေနတေ၀။
တံ ဗုဒၶမနႏၲေဂါစရံ၊ အပဒံ ေကန ပေဒန ေနႆထ။

၁၇၉။ အၾကင္ျမတ္စြာဘုရားသည္ ေအာင္အပ္ျပီးေသာ ကိေလသာကို တစ္ဖန္ေအာင္ဖြယ္မလို၊ ေလာက၌ အၾကင္ ျမတ္စြာဘုရား၏ ေအာင္ျပီးေသာ ကိေလသာေနာက္သို႔ ကိေလသာတစ္စံုတစ္ခုမွ် အစဥ္မလိုက္ေတာ့ေခ်၊ အပိုင္း အျခားမ႐ွိ က်က္စားႏုိင္သည့္ သဗၺညဳတဉာဏ္႐ွိေတာ္မူေသာ ရာဂစေသာ ခရီးလမ္းေၾကာင္းမ႐ွိေသာ ထိုျမတ္စြာ ဘုရားကို အဘယ္ခရီးလမ္းေၾကာင္းျဖင့္ သင္တို႔ ေခၚေဆာင္ ႏုိင္ကုန္အံ့နည္း။

၁၈၀။ အၾကင္ျမတ္စြာဘုရားအား တစ္စံုတစ္ခုေသာ ေလာကသို႔ ေခၚေဆာင္ရန္ ပိုက္ကြန္ပမာ ကပ္ျငိတတ္ေသာ တဏွာသည္မ႐ွိ၊ အပိုင္းအျခားမ႐ွိ က်က္စားႏုိင္သည့္ သဗၺညဳတဉာဏ္ ႐ွိေတာ္မူေသာ ရာဂစေသာ ခရီးလမ္း ေၾကာင္းမ႐ွိေသာ ထိုျမတ္စြာဘုရားကို အဘယ္ခရီးလမ္းေၾကာင္းျဖင့္ သင္တို႔ ေခၚေဆာင္ႏုိင္ကုန္အံ့နည္း။

179. Buddha, the enlightened one, who already eradicated all mental defilements, has done what has to be done, whose victory cannot be turned into defeat, and whom no one can conquer?

180. Buddha, the enlightened one, who has no more net-like craving and clinging that cannot lead him whosesoever, whose range is limitless and pathless, by what path will you lead?

၁၈၁။ ေယ စ်ာနပသုတာ ဓီရာ၊ ေနကၡမၼဴပသေမ ရတာ။
ေဒ၀ါပိ ေတသံ ပိဟယႏၲိ၊ သမၺဳဒၶါနံ သတီမတံ။

၁၈၁။ အၾကင္ပညာ႐ွိတို႔သည္ သမထစ်ာန္၌ ေလ့က်က္အားထုတ္ကုန္၏၊ ကာမမွထြက္ေျမာက္မႈ ကိေလသာျငိမ္းမႈ၌ ေမြ႔ေလ်ာ္ကုန္၏၊ သစၥာေလးပါးတရားကို ေကာင္းစြာသိကုန္ေသာ လြန္ကဲေသာ သတိ႐ွိကုန္ေသာ ထိုပညာ႐ွိတို႔အား နတ္ျဗဟၼာတို႔သည္လည္း ခ်စ္ျမတ္ႏုိးၾကကုန္၏။

181. The wise ones who are intent on meditating delight (samata-meditation) in the calm of going out from all mental defilements. They, who are perfectly awakened, deeply inspired in mindfulness and who know well the Four Noble Truth, are delighted even by gods.

၁၈၂။ ကိေစၧာ မႏုႆပဋိလာေဘာ၊ ကိစၧံ မစၥာန ဇီ၀ိတံ။
ကိစၧံ သဒၶမၼႆ၀နံ၊ ကိေစၧာ ဗုဒၶါနမုပၸါေဒါ။

၁၈၂။ လူအျဖစ္ကို ရျခင္းသည္ ခဲယဥ္း၏၊ သတၱ၀ါတို႔၏ အသက္႐ွင္ျခင္းသည္ ခဲယဥ္း၏၊ သူေတာ္ေကာင္းတရားကို ၾကားနာရျခင္းသည္ ခဲယဥ္း၏၊ ဘုရားရွင္တို႔ ပြင့္ထြန္းေပၚ ေပါက္လာရျခင္းသည္ ခဲယဥ္း၏။

182. It is difficult to get to be born as a man; it is also difficult to be the life of mortals, difficult is the hearing of the Dhamma, the rare event is the arising of a Buddha.

  nekkhammupasame rata;
  devapi tesam pihayanti,
  sambuddhanam satimatam.

  kiccham maccana jivitam,
  kiccham saddhammasavanam,
  kiccho Buddhanam uppado.

၁၈၅။ အႏူပ၀ါေဒါ အႏူပဃာေတာ၊ ပါတိေမာေကၡ စ သံ၀ေရာ။
မတၱညဳတာ စ ဘတၱသၼႎ၊ ပႏၲဥၥ သယနာသနံ။
အဓိစိေတၱ စ အာေယာေဂါ၊ ဧတံ ဗုဒၶါန သာသနံ။

၁၈၃။ မေကာင္းမႈဟူသမွ်ကို မျပဳရာ၊ ကုသိုလ္ႏွင့္ ျပည့္စံုေစရာ၏၊ မိမိစိတ္ကိုျဖဴစင္ေစရာ၏၊ ဤသည္ကား ဘုရား႐ွင္ တို႔၏ အဆံုးအမေတာ္ေပတည္း။

၁၈၄။ တိတိကၡာဟု အမည္ရေသာ သည္းခံမႈ ခႏီၲသည္ ျမတ္ေသာအက်င့္ေပတည္း၊ နိဗၺာန္ကို အလြန္ျမတ္၏ဟု ဘုရား႐ွင္တို႔ ေဟာေတာ္မူကုန္၏၊ ရဟန္းဟူသည္ သူတစ္ပါးကို မညႇဥ္းဆဲရာ၊ သူတစ္ပါးကို ညႇဥ္းဆဲေသာသူသည္ ရဟန္းမဟုတ္ေပ။

၁၈၅။ သူတစ္ပါးကို မကဲ့ရဲ႕မစြပ္စြဲရာ မညႇဥ္းဆဲရာ၊ ပါတိေမာကၡသံ၀ရသီလကို ေစာင့္ေ႐ွာက္ရာ၏။ စားဖြယ္၌ အတိုင္းအ႐ွည္ကို သိရာ၏၊ ဆိတ္ျငိမ္ေသာေက်ာင္း အိပ္ရာေနရာသို႔ ကပ္ေရာက္ေနထိုင္ရာ၏၊ သမာပတ္႐ွစ္ပါးဟူေသာ အဓိစိတၱသိကၡာကို ပြားမ်ားအားထုတ္ရာ၏၊ ဤသည္ကား ဘုရား႐ွင္တို႔၏ အဆံုးအမေတာ္ေပတည္း။

183. To refrain from doing what is evil, to cultivate all virtuous actions, to purify one's own heart, these are the teachings of the enlightened Buddhas.

184. Forbearing patience is the highest sacrifice. The awakened Buddhas say Nibbana is supreme. If one hurts another, he is not a hermit; the one who offends another is not an ascetic.

185. Not to find faults, not to hurt, to restrain under the precepts of Patimokkha (Fundamental Moral Precepts), to be moderate in food, the solitude of one's place and one's bed, and to practice the highest consciousness; these are the teachings of Awakened Buddhas.

  adhicitte ca ayogo,

၁၈၆-၁၈၇။ အသျပာမိုး ႐ြာသြန္းေပးသျဖင့္လည္း ကာမတို႔၌ ေရာင့္ရဲတင္းတိမ္မႈမ႐ွိ၊ ကာမတို႔သည္ သာယာ ဘြယ္သေဘာမ႐ွိကုန္၊ ဆင္းရဲကုန္၏ဟုသိ၍ ျမတ္စြာဘုရား၏ တပည့္ျဖစ္ေသာ ပညာ႐ွိသည္ နတ္၌ျဖစ္ေသာ ကာမတို႔၌ ေသာ္လည္း မေမြ႔ေလ်ာ္၊ တဏွာကုန္ရာ နိဗၺာန္၌သာ ေမြ႔ေလ်ာ္ေတာ့၏။

186-187. No contentment is found among sensual pleasures even with a shower of money. Craving, desires and pleasures will come to an end in pain. Knowing this, the wise one has no delight even in heavenly sensual pleasures. The disciple of Buddha finds delight in the ending of all craving.

ေနတံ သရဏမာဂမၼ၊ သဗၺဒုကၡာ ပမုစၥတိ။

၁၉၀။ ေယာ စ ဗုဒၶဥၥ ဓမၼဥၥ၊ သံဃဥၥ သရဏံ ဂေတာ။
စတၱာရိ အရိယသစၥာနိ၊ သမၼပၸညာယ ပႆတိ။

၁၉၁။ ဒုကၡံ ဒုကၡသမုပၸါဒံ၊ ဒုကၡႆ စ အတိကၠမ။
အရိယံ စ႒ဂႋကံ မဂၢံ၊ ဒုကၡဴပသမဂါမိနံ။

၁၉၂။ ဧတံ ေခါ သရဏံ ေခမံ၊ ဧတံ သရဏမုတၱမံ။
ဧတံ သရဏမာဂမၼ၊ သဗၺဒုကၡာ ပမုစၥတိ။

၁၈၈။ ေၾကာက္႐ြ႔ံထိတ္လန္႔ကုန္ေသာ မ်ားစြာေသာလူတို႔သည္ ေတာင္တို႔ကိုလည္းေကာင္း၊ ေတာတို႔ကိုလည္းေကာင္း၊ ေနရာတို႔ကိုလည္းေကာင္း၊ အထိကရ သစ္ပင္စေသာ ကိုးကြယ္ရာတို႔ကို လည္းေကာင္း ကိုးကြယ္ၾကကုန္၏။

၁၈၉။ ဤ ေတာ ေတာင္ ေနရာ အထိကရသစ္ပင္စေသာ ကိုးကြယ္ရာ ဟူသမွ်ကို ကိုးကြယ္ျခင္းသည္ ေဘးကင္းေသာ ကိုးကြယ္ျခင္းမဟုတ္၊ ျမတ္ေသာကိုးကြယ္ျခင္းမဟုတ္၊ ဤကိုးကြယ္ရာ ဟူသမွ်ကို ကိုးကြယ္ဆည္းကပ္ျခင္းေၾကာင့္ ဒုကၡခပ္သိမ္းမွ မလြတ္ေျမာက္ႏုိင္။

၁၉၀-၁၉၁။ အၾကင္သူသည္ ျမတ္စြာဘုရားကို လည္းေကာင္း၊ တရားေတာ္ကိုလည္းေကာင္း၊ သံဃာေတာ္ကို လည္းေကာင္း ကိုးကြယ္ဆည္းကပ္၏၊ ထိုသူသည္ ဆင္းရဲအမွန္ ဒုကၡသစၥာ၊ ဆင္းရဲျခင္း၏ အေၾကာင္းရင္းအမွန္ သမုဒယသစၥာ၊ ဆင္းရဲမွ လြတ္ေျမာက္ရာအမွန္ နိေရာဓသစၥာ၊ ဆင္းရဲျငိမ္းရာ နိဗၺာန္သို႔ေရာက္ေၾကာင္းအမွန္ အဂၤါ႐ွစ္ပါး႐ွိေသာ ျမတ္ေသာမဂၢသစၥာ ဟူေသာ အရိယသစၥာေလးပါးတို႔ကို ေကာင္းစြာ မဂ္ပညာျဖင့္ ျမင္ႏုိင္၏။

၁၉၂။ ဤရတနာသံုးပါးကို ကိုးကြယ္ဆည္းကပ္ျခင္းသည္ ေဘးမ႐ွိေသာ ကိုးကြယ္ဆည္းကပ္ျခင္းမည္၏၊ ျမတ္ေသာ ကိုးကြယ္ဆည္းကပ္ျခင္းမည္၏၊ ဤရတနာသံုးပါးကို ကိုးကြယ္ျခင္းေၾကာင့္ ဒုကၡခပ္သိမ္းမွ လြတ္ေျမာက္၏။

188. Persons who are threatened by fear go to mountains and to forests, sacred trees and shrines for refuge.
189. But that is not a safe refuge, that is not the ultimate refuge. Having come to this refuge, one is not free of all miseries and troubles.

190-191. But one who takes refuge in Buddha, in his teaching (Dhamma) and his community of monks (Sangha), sees the four Noble Truths with accurate insight: Suffering, the Cause of Suffering, and the overcoming of Suffering, and the Noble Eightfold Path that leads to Cessation of Suffering.

192. Taking refuge in three jewels: Buddha, Dhamma (his teaching) and Sangha (his follower community) is a harmless refuge that is the best and having come to that refuge, one is free from all sufferings.

  aramarukkhacetyani,
  manussa bhayatajjita.

  n’etam saranam agamma,
  sabbadukkha pamuccati.

၁၉၃။ ေယာက်္ားအာဇာနည္ပုဂၢဳိလ္မ်ဳိးသည္ ျဖစ္ထြန္းေပၚေပါက္ႏုိင္ခဲ၏၊ ထိုေယာက်္ားအာဇာနည္ ပုဂၢဳိလ္မ်ဳိးသည္ ခပ္သိမ္းေသာအရပ္ေဒသ၊ ခပ္သိမ္းေသာအမ်ဳိးအႏြယ္တို႔၌ မျဖစ္ထြန္းႏုိင္၊ ပညာ႐ွိေသာ အာဇာနည္ပုဂၢဳိလ္မ်ဳိးသည္ အၾကင္အမ်ဳိးအႏြယ္၌ျဖစ္၏၊ ထိုအမ်ဳိးအႏြယ္သည္ ခ်မ္းသာျခင္းသို႔ေရာက္၏။

193. A man of nobility is not easy to find, a Buddha, who is awake is not born in everywhere. That family prospers in happiness where that wise person is born.

၁၉၄။ ဘုရား႐ွင္တို႔ ပြင့္ထြန္းေပၚေပါက္လာျခင္းသည္ ခ်မ္းသာျခင္း၏ အေၾကာင္းျဖစ္၏၊ သူေတာ္ေကာင္းတရားကို ေဟာၾကားေတာ္မူျခင္းသည္ ခ်မ္းသာျခင္း၏အေၾကာင္းျဖစ္၏၊ သံဃာ၏ညီညြတ္ျခင္းသည္ ခ်မ္းသာျခင္း၏ အေၾကာင္းျဖစ္၏၊ စိတ္ဓာတ္ညီညြတ္သူတို႔၏ အက်င့္သည္ ခ်မ္းသာျခင္း၏အေၾကာင္းျဖစ္၏။

194. Joyful is the birth of Buddha, joyful is the teaching of the Noble Doctrine, Dhamma, joyful is the unity of his followers (Sangha), joyful is the life of those who live in harmony.

၁၉၅-၁၉၆။ ပူေဇာ္ထိုက္ကုန္ေသာ တဏွာ မာန ဒိ႒ိဟူေသာ သံသရာနယ္ခ်ဲ႔တရားတို႔ကို လြန္ေျမာက္ျပီးကုန္ေသာ စိုးရိမ္ပူေဆြးငိုေၾကြးျခင္းကို လြတ္ေျမာက္ျပီးကုန္ေသာ ကိေလသာျငိမ္းေအး ျပီးကုန္ေသာ တစ္စံုတစ္ခု ေဘးရန္ မ႐ွိကုန္ေသာ ဘုရား႐ွင္တို႔ကိုလည္းေကာင္း၊ ျမတ္စြာဘုရား၏ တပည့္တို႔ကိုလည္းေကာင္း ပူေဇာ္ေသာသူ၏ ေကာင္းမႈကို ဤေကာင္းမႈသည္ ဤမွ်႐ွိ၏ဟု တစ္စံုတစ္ေယာက္ေသာသူသည္လည္း ေရတြက္ျခင္းငွါ မတတ္ေကာင္း။

195-196. Of one worshipping those worthy of worship, a Buddha or his disciples who have left behind all craving and mental defilements and have crossed over sorrow, who, free from all fears; no one can measure the extent of the merit and the virtue of one worshipping them.
