၄။ အဂၤုလိမာလကို ေအာင္ေတာ္မူျခင္း

အဂၤုလိမာလကို ေအာင္ေတာ္မူျခင္း

ေကာသလတုိင္း အတြင္း တစ္ေနရာတြင္ ဆုိးသြမ္းၿပီး အားႀကီးလွတဲ့ လူဆိုးတစ္ေယာက္ရွိတယ္။ သူ႔နာမည္က အဂၤုလိမာလ လို႔ ေခၚပါတယ္။ သူဟာ တကၠသိုလ္ျပည္ ဒိသာပါေမာကၡဆရာႀကီးထံမွာ ပညာသင္ယူေနစဥ္အတြင္း ဆရာႀကီးက တပည့္မ်ားရဲ႕ ဂံုးေခ်ာစကား ကို ယံုၾကည္ကာ လက္ၿငိဳးေပါင္းတစ္ေထာင္ ယူခဲ့ရန္ အဂၤုလိမာလအား ေျပာပါတယ္။ အဂၤုလိမာလလည္း ဆရာစကားကို ယံုၾကည္တဲ့အတြက္ ဆရာခုိင္းတဲ့အတိုင္း လက္ၿငိဳးေပါင္းတစ္ေထာင္ ရဖို႔အတြက္ အားထုတ္ရပါေတာ့တယ္။ ဒီလုိနဲ႔ သူဟာ ရင္ဆိုင္ေတြ႕သမွ် လူမ်ားအား လက္ညိဳးကိုယူ၊ လူကုိလည္းသတ္ျဖတ္ကာ ေသာင္းၾကမ္းခ်င္တုိင္း ေသာင္းၾကမ္း ေနပါေတာ့တယ္။ တစ္ေန႔ ဘုရားရွင္ကိုယ္ေတာ္ျမတ္ဟာ ေကာသလတိုင္း သာ၀တၳိၿမိဳ႕ထဲ ဆြမ္းခံကာ ဆြမ္းဘုဥ္းေပးအၿပီး၊ ေန႔လည္ဖက္ သပိတ္သကၤန္းတို႔ ကို ျပင္ဆင္ကာ ကိုယ္ေတာ္ျမတ္တစ္ပါးတည္း ခရီးရွည္ႀကီးကို ေျခလ်င္ျဖင့္ ၾကြေတာ္မူပါတယ္။ ၾကြေတာ္မူမယ့္ေနရာက လူဆိုးႀကီး အဂၤုလိမာလ ရွိတဲ့ေနရာ ျဖစ္တယ္။

လမ္းတြင္ ႏြားေက်ာင္းသားမ်ား၊ လယ္လုပ္သူမ်ားက တစ္ပါးတည္း ၾကြေတာ္မူလာတဲ့ ဘုရားရွင္အား “အရွင္ဘုရား….ဘယ္အရပ္ကို ၾကြမွာလဲဘုရား” လို႔ ေမးေလွ်ာက္ၾကတယ္။ ဘုရားရွင္ကလည္း အဂၤုလိမာလရွိရာသြားမွာျဖစ္တဲ့ အေၾကာင္း မိန္႔ေတာ္မူေသာအခါ ႏြားေက်ာင္းသား၊လယ္လုပ္သူမ်ားက “ အရွင္ဘုရား…ဒီေဒသမွာေတာ့ အဂၤုလိမာလ ရွိရာ ေတာအုတ္ကို ျဖတ္ၿပီး ခရီးသြားမယ္ဆိုပါက တစ္ေယာက္ထဲ မသြားရဲ႕ၾကဘူး၊ ၂၀-၃၀-၄၀ အုပ္စုဖြဲ႕ၿပီး သြားၾကပါတယ္။ ဒီလိုသြားတာေတာင္မွ အဂၤုလိမာလရဲ႕ လက္အတြင္းက မလြတ္ပဲ အသတ္ခံရပါတယ္ဘုရား၊ သူရွိတဲ့ ေနရာကို ေရာက္သြားတဲ့ လူမ်ားဟာ အဂၤုလိမာလ ေၾကာင့္ ပ်က္စီးခဲ့ရ၊ ေသခဲ့ၾကရပါတယ္ဘုရား၊ အရွင္ဘုရား တစ္ပါးတည္း ၾကြေတာ္မူပါနဲ႔ ဘုရား” လို႔ တားၾကေသာ္လည္း ဘုရားရွင္ကေတာ့ ဘာမွ ျပန္မေျပာဘဲ ၾကြေတာ္မူရာ လမ္းအတုိင္း ၾကြေတာ္မူခဲ့ပါတယ္။ သို႔ႏွင့္ ဘုရားရွင္ဟာ အဂၤုလိမာလရွိရာ ေတာအုပ္သို႔ ေရာက္ေတာ္မူပါတယ္။ အဂၤုလိမာလဟာ ဘုရားရွင္ ၾကြလာတာကို ခပ္လွမ္း လွမ္းက ျမင္တဲ့အခါ “ ငါရွိရာ ေတာအုပ္ထဲကို ဘယ္သူမွ လာရဲတာမဟုတ္၊ ၂၀-၃၀ အုပ္စုဖြဲ႕ၿပီး လာတာေတာင္မွ ငါအလြတ္ေပးပဲ အားလံုးကို သတ္ခဲ့တယ္။ အခုေတာ့ ရဟန္းႀကီးတစ္ဦးတည္းလာတာဟာ ငါ့ကို မေလးမခန္႔လုပ္တာပဲ” လို႔ ေတြးကာ ဘုရားရွင္ကို သတ္ဖုိ႔အတြက္ ဘုရားရွင္ ရွိရာသို႔ လ်င္ျမန္တဲ့အဟုန္နဲ႔ ေျပးလိုက္ပါေတာ့တယ္။ ဘုရားရွင္က မေျပးဘဲ ရပ္ေတာ္မူေနေပမယ့္ အဂၤုလိမာလက ေျပးလိုက္လို႔ မမီနုိင္ျဖစ္ေနတယ္။ “အရင္ကေတာ့ ဆင္ေျပာင္ႀကီး ေျပးတယ္ဆိုရင္ ငါလိုက္မီတယ္၊ ျမင္းေတြေျပးတယ္ဆိုရင္ ေနာက္ကလိုက္မီပါရဲဲ႕၊ အခုေတာ့ သာမာန္လူတစ္ေယာက္ကို မလိုက္နုိင္တာ ဘာ့ေၾကာင့္လဲ” လုိ႔ေတြးကာ ဘုရားရွင္အား “ရပ္ပါေတာ့ ရပ္ပါေတာ့” လို႔ တားပါတယ္။ ဘုရားရွင္က “အဂၤုလိမာလ….ငါဘုရားက ရပ္ေနတာ၊ မရပ္တာက သင္ပဲ” လို႔ မိန္႔ေတာ္မူပါတယ္။ ထုိအခါ လူဆိုးႀကီးက “သာကီ၀င္မင္းသား ရဟန္းမ်ားဟာ မွန္တဲ့စကားသာ ေျပာၾကတယ္။ ရဟန္းႀကီးဟာ ရပ္ေနတယ္ ဆိုၿပီး ငါ အေျပးလိုက္တာေတာင္ မမီဘူး၊ ဘာ့ေၾကာင့္ပါလဲ” လို႔ သိခ်င္တဲ့အတြက္ ဘုရားရွင္အား ေမးလိုက္တယ္။ “ အရွင္ဘုရား ….အရွင္ဘုရားက ရပ္ေနတယ္ူလို႔ေျပာၿပီး ေျပးေနတယ္၊ တပည့္ေတာ္ကိုေတာ့ ေျပးေနတယ္လို႔ေျပာတယ္။ အေၾကာင္းေလး သိခ်င္ပါတယ္” လို႔ ေမးေလွ်ာက္ေတာ့ ဘုရားရွင္က “ အဂၤုလိမာလ….ငါဘုရားဟာ ေလးျမား ဓါး စတာေတြကို အၿပီးတိုင္ပစ္ခ်ခဲ့ကာ လူအမ်ားအား မသတ္တဲ့အတြက္ ‘ရပ္ေနသူ’ လို႔ေခၚတယ္။ သင္ကား ေလးျမားလက္နက္စတာေတြကို ကိုင္ေဆာင္ကာ လုိက္လံေျပးလႊား သတ္ျဖတ္ ေနသူျဖစ္တဲ့အတြက္ ‘ေျပးေနသူ’ လို႔ ေခၚတယ္ အဂၤုလိမာလ….” လို႔ မိန္႔ေတာ္မူလိုက္တဲ့အခါ အဂၤုလိမာလလည္း သံေ၀ဂအႀကီးအက်ယ္ရရွိပါေတာ့တယ္။ ဒါနဲ႔ ေလးျမွားစတာေတြကို ဘုရားရွင္ရဲ႕ ေျခေတာ္ရင္းမွာ ခ်ခဲ့ၿပီး ရဟန္းျပဳဖို႔ရာ ေတာင္းဆိုပါေတာ့တယ္။ အခုေျပာခဲ့တာေတြကေတာ့ဘုရားရွင္က အဂၤုလိမာလအား ေအာင္နုိင္ပံု ျဖစ္ပါေၾကာင္း………….ေလးခုေျမာက္ ေအာင္ျခင္း ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။

There was a young harmless student at TAKKASILA University called Ahimsa. His jealous fellow students poisoned the mind of their teacher against him.
As a result the teacher asked Ahimsa for a garland of one thousand
right index fingers as tuition fee. Eager to discharge his obligation,
he went into the Jalini forest in Kosala and started to waylay the
passing travellers to collect an index finger from the right hand of
each victim. The garland was almost completed except for one more
single finger. Ahimsa decided to kill even his own mother for the sake
of completing the one thousandth finger in the garland. However, Ahimsa
was intercepted by the Compassionate Buddha who came to his aid. After
listening to His preaching and being convinced, Ahimsa now known as
Angulimala (garland of fingers ) joined the Sangha and became a Bhikkhu
(monk) . The Angulimala Sutta, a discourse ascribed to this Thera
(elder/monk) and connected to this event, is well-known in Buddhist
countries and often used by pregnant ladies in travail for easy and
safe delivery.
