၂၂။ နိရယ၀ဂၢNirayavaggo 地獄品

၃၀၆။ အဘူတ၀ါဒီ နိရယံ ဥေပတိ၊ ေယာ ၀ါပိ ကတြာ န ကေရာမိစာဟ။
ဥေဘာပိ ေတ ေပစၥ သမာ ဘ၀ႏၲိ၊ နိဟီနကမၼာ မႏုဇာ ပရတၳ။

၃၀၆။ မဟုတ္မမွန္ ေျပာဆိုသူသည္လည္း ငရဲသို႔ေရာက္ရ၏၊ မိမိျပဳလုပ္လ်က္ မျပဳလုပ္ဟု ေျပာဆိုသူသည္လည္း ငရဲသို႔ေရာက္ရ၏၊ ထိုသူႏွစ္ေယာက္တို႔သည္လည္း ယုတ္ေသာအမႈ ႐ွိကုန္သည္ျဖစ္ ၍ ေနာင္တမလြန္ဘ၀၌ ငရဲခံရျခင္း တူကုန္၏။

306. The person who speaks lies goes to hell, and the one who has done things said, "I haven't done this" also goes to hell. Both of them, after having passed away, will have to suffer as they sinned against truth.

၃၀၇။ ကာသာ၀ကဏၭာ ဗလေ၀ါ၊ ပါပဓမၼာ အသညတာ။
ပါပါ ပါေပဟိ ကေမၼဟိ၊ နိရယံ ေတ ဥပပဇၨေရ။

၃၀၇။ ယုတ္မာေသာ သေဘာ႐ွိကုန္သည္ျဖစ္၍ ကုိယ္ႏႈတ္ႏွလံုးကို မေစာင့္စည္းကုန္ေသာ သကၤန္းကို လည္ပင္း၌ပတ္ၾကကုန္ေသာ မ်ားစြာေသာ ထိုသူယုတ္မာတို႔သည္ ယုတ္မာေသာ မေကာင္းမႈတို႔ေၾကာင့္ ငရဲသို႔ က်ေရာက္ရကုန္၏။

307. Those who have bad qualities wear the yellow robes on their necks and not have good nature and self-control; such persons are led to hell by their bad deeds.

၃၀၈။ သီလလည္းမ႐ွိ ကိုယ္ ႏႈတ္ ႏွလံုးကိုလည္း မေစာင့္စည္းဘဲ တိုင္းသူျပည္သားတို႔ သဒၶါၾကည္ျဖဴ ေပးလွဴအပ္ ေသာဆြမ္းကို စားရျခင္းထက္ မီးလွ်ံကဲ့သို႔ ပူေလာင္ေသာ သံေတြခဲကို စားရျခင္းက သာ၍ေကာင္းျမတ္ေသး၏။

308. It would be better to swallow a red hot iron ball which is glowing like fire, for bad and unrestrained fellows than that one should eat the alms provided by devoted people.

၃၁၀။ အပုညလာေဘာ စ ဂတီ စ ပါပိကာ၊ ဘီတႆ ဘီတာယ ရတီ စ ေထာကိကာ။
ရာဇာ စ ဒ႑ံ ဂ႐ုကံ ပေဏတိ၊ တသၼာ နေရာ ပရဒါရံ န ေသေ၀။

၃၀၉။ တရားလမ္းမွန္ သတိမထားဘဲ သူတစ္ပါးသားမယားကို မွီ၀ဲသူသည္ အကုသိုလ္ရျခင္း၊ အလို႐ွိတိုင္း ခ်မ္းသာစြာမအိပ္ရျခင္း၊ သူတစ္ပါးတို႔ အကဲ့ရဲ႕ခံရျခင္း၊ ငရဲခံရျခင္း ဤေလးပါးေသာ ဆင္းရဲျခင္း၏ အေၾကာင္းတို႔သို႔ ေရာက္ရ၏။

၃၁၀။ မေကာင္းမႈကိုလည္းရ၏၊ ယုတ္ေသာလားရာဂတိလည္း႐ွိ၏၊ ေၾကာက္႐ြံ႔ထိတ္လန္႔ေသာ ေယာက်္ား၏ ေၾကာက္႐ြ႔ံထိတ္လန္႔ေသာ မိန္းမႏွင့္ ေမြ႔ေလ်ာ္ေပ်ာ္ပါးရျခင္းသည္ အနည္းငယ္မွ်သာ ျဖစ္၏၊ မင္းသည္လည္း ႀကီးေလးေသာ အျပစ္ဒဏ္ကိုလည္းေပး၏၊ ထို႔ေၾကာင့္ေယာက်္ားသည္ သူတစ္ပါးမယားကို မမွီ၀ဲရာ။

309. The person who is thoughtless takes another man's wife would go through four misfortunes: got sinned, lack of sleep peacefully, disgraced by other people and lastly hell.

310. Getting the sin, and the downward path to hell for the brief pleasure of a frightened man with frightened woman, the imposition by the King with heavy punishment; therefore let no man think of another man's wife.

  tasma naro paradaram na seve.

၃၁၁။ မေကာင္းသျဖင့္ ကိုင္အပ္ေသာ သမန္းျမက္သည္ ကိုင္ေသာလက္ကိုသာလွ်င္ ခြဲ႐ွသကဲ့သို႔ မေကာင္းသျဖင့္ က်င့္သံုးအပ္ေသာ ရဟန္းအျဖစ္သည္ ထိုရဟန္းကိုပင္ ငရဲသို႔ဆြဲခ်၏။

၃၁၂။ ေလ်ာ့ရဲစြာျပဳအပ္ေသာ အမႈကိစၥတစ္စံုတစ္ခုသည္ လည္းေကာင္း၊ ညစ္ႏြမ္းေသာ အက်င့္သည္ လည္းေကာင္း၊ ယံုမွားေတြးေတာဖြယ္ျဖစ္ေသာ ရဟန္းအက်င့္သည္ လည္းေကာင္း အက်ဳိးမႀကီးေခ်။

၃၁၃။ အမႈကိစၥကို ျပဳလုပ္ခဲ့မူ ထုိအမႈကိစၥကို တိက်စြာ ျပဳလုပ္ရာ၏၊ ထိုအမႈကိစၥကို ျမဲျမံစြာအား ထုတ္ရာ၏၊ ေလ်ာ့ရဲစြာျပဳအပ္ေသာ ရဟန္းအျဖစ္သည္ ကိေလသာျမဴကို ထပ္ေလာင္းႀကဲျဖန္႔တတ္၏။

311. Just as a blade of grass, if badly grasped, cuts the hand, the life of a monk, if imperfectly followed, will only lead him to hell.

312. For an act carelessly performed, when sacred vows are broken, a monk's life with suspicion and hesitation – these may have no great results.

313. If a thing is to be done, let one do it firmly. A thoughtless, careless Bhikkhu only raises the dust (messing things up) – the dust of desires.

၃၁၄။ မေကာင္းမႈကို မျပဳျခင္းသည္ျမတ္၏၊ မေကာင္းမႈသည္ ေနာင္အခါ ပူပန္ေစတတ္၏၊ ေကာင္းမႈကို ျပဳျခင္းသည္ကား ျမတ္၏၊ ယင္းေကာင္းမႈကို ျပဳျခင္းေၾကာင့္ ေနာင္တတစ္ဖန္ မပူပန္ရ။

314. A misdeed is better left undone, as it torments afterwards; a good deed is better done, for having done it, one needs not have worry.

၃၁၅။ နဂရံ ယထာ ပစၥႏၲံ၊ ဂုတၱံ သႏၲရဗာဟိရံ။
ဧ၀ံ ေဂါေပထ အတၱာနံ၊ ခေဏာ ေ၀ါ မာ ဥပစၥဂါ။
ခဏာတီတာ ဟိ ေသာစႏၲိ၊ နိရယမွိ သမပၸိတာ။


၃၁၅။ တိုင္းျပည္အစြန္ျဖစ္ေသာၿမိဳ႔ကို အတြင္းအျပင္ႏွင့္တကြ လံုျခံဳေစသကဲ့သို႔ ထို႔အတူ မိမိကိုယ္ကို အတြင္းအျပင္ လံုျခံဳေအာင္ ေစာင့္ေ႐ွာက္ကုန္ေလာ့၊ သင္တို႔ကို ဘုရားပြင့္ျခင္းစေသာ အခြင့္အခါေကာင္းသည္ မလြန္ပါေစလင့္၊ အခြင့္အခါေကာင္းကို လြန္သူတို႔သည္ ငရဲ၌ က်ေရာက္ကုန္သည္ျဖစ္၍ စိုးရိမ္ၾကရကုန္၏။

315. Like a city on the border is guarded both inside and out, so let a man guard himself. Do not let a good moment with Buddha's Thar tha na (Sasana) slip by, for those who carelessly allow the good opportunity pass by, in the end they have to suffer when born in hell.

314 Akatam dukkatam seyyo,
  paccha tapati dukkatam,
  katañ ca sukatam seyyo,
  yam katva nanutappati.

မွားေသာအယူ႐ွိေသာ သတၱ၀ါတို႔သည္ ဒုဂၢတိဘ၀သို႔ ေရာက္ရကုန္၏။

၃၁၇။ ေၾကာက္ဖြယ္မဟုတ္သည္၌ ေၾကာက္ဖြယ္ဟု ႐ႈေလ့႐ွိၾကကုန္၍ ေၾကာက္ဖြယ္ဟုတ္သည္၌ ေၾကာက္ဖြယ္ မဟုတ္ဟု ႐ႈေလ့႐ွိကုန္ေသာ မွားေသာအယူ႐ွိေသာ သတၱ၀ါတို႔သည္ ဒုဂၢတိဘ၀သို႔ ေရာက္ရကုန္၏။

316. Those who are ashamed of what is not shameful and not ashamed of what is shameful; those people who have very wrong views go the hellish abode in the end.

317. Those who fear what they should not fear, and who do not fear what they should fear; those people who have very wrong views go to hellish abode.

  lajjitaye na lajjare,
  micchaditthisamadana,
  satta gacchanti duggatim.

၃၁၈။ အျပစ္မဟုတ္သည္၌ အျပစ္ဟု အယူ႐ွိၾကကုန္၍ အျပစ္ဟုတ္သည္၌လည္း အျပစ္မဟုတ္ဟု ႐ႈေလ့႐ွိကုန္ေသာ မွားေသာအယူ႐ွိေသာ သတၱ၀ါတို႔သည္ ဒုဂၢတိဘ၀သို႔ ေရာက္ရကုန္၏။

၃၁၉။ အျပစ္ကိုအျပစ္ဟု အျပစ္မဟုတ္သည္ကို အျပစ္မဟုတ္ဟု သိၾကကုန္ေသာေၾကာင့္ ေကာင္းေသာအယူ ႐ွိကုန္ေသာ သတၱ၀ါတို႔သည္ သုဂတိဘ၀သို႔ ေရာက္ရကုန္၏။

318. Those who see sin where there is no sin, and who do not see sin where there is sin; those people who have very wrong views go to hellish abode.

319. Those who see clearly the good thing is good and the bad thing is bad; have the right views and they go to the happy state.
