အပၸမာဒ၀ဂၢ

不放逸品

21 Appamado amatapadam,
  pamado maccuno padam;
  appamatta na miyanti,
  ye pamatta yatha mata.

  不放逸[]不死的路[1]放逸[2][]死天[3]的路;諸未放逸者不死,凡是諸已放逸者像諸已死者。

22 Etam visesato ñatva,
  appamadamhi pandita;
  appamade pamodanti,
  ariyanam gocare rata.

  諸賢智者在不放逸之中,從殊勝知這後,在不放逸之中徹底欣喜,已喜樂諸聖者[4]的諸行境。

23 Te jhayino satatika,
  niccam dalhaparakkama;
  phusanti dhira nibbanam,
  yogakkhemam anuttaram.

  禪那[5]、堅定、常堅強努力、賢明的他們,觸以致力[6]為安穩、無上的涅槃[7]

[7] 涅槃 nibbana(cp. BSk. nirvana) n. 1. 涅槃(音譯) 2. 冷卻(直譯) (Buddhadasa譯:cool)(「對渴愛因徹底捨離,它被叫做『涅槃』。」S i39) (「羅陀!因為滅盡渴愛是涅槃。」S iii190) (「此地方亦難被見,就是:平息一切的諸一起作、對一切的存留無執著、滅盡渴愛、離染、滅、涅槃。」M i167)

၂၂။ ဧ၀ံ ၀ိေသသေတာ ဉတြာ၊ အပၸမာဒမွိ ပ႑ိတာ။
အပၸမာေဒ ပေမာဒႏၲိ၊ အရိယာနံ ေဂါစေရ ရတာ။

၂၃။ ေတ စ်ာယိေနာ သာတတိကာ၊ နိစၥံ ဒဠွပရကၠမာ။
ဖုသႏၲိ ဓီရာ နိဗၺာနံ၊ ေယာဂေကၡမံ အႏုတၱရံ။


၂၁။ မေမ့မေလ်ာ့ျခင္းသည္ နိဗၺာန္၏အေၾကာင္းတည္း၊ ေမ့ေလ်ာ့ျခင္းသည္ ေသျခင္း၏အေၾကာင္းတည္း၊ မေမ့မေလ်ာ့ေသာသူတို႔သည္ ေသသည္မမည္ကုန္၊ ေမ့ေလ်ာ့ေသာသူတို႔သည္ ေသသည္ မည္ကုန္၏။

၂၂။ မေမ့ေလ်ာ့ေသာ ပညာ႐ွိတို႔သည္ ဤသို႔ ထူးျခားေၾကာင္းကိုသိ၍ မေမ့ေလ်ာ့ေသာ သတိတရား၌ ႐ႊင္လန္း၀မ္း ေျမာက္ကုန္လ်က္ အရိယာတို႔၏ က်က္စားရာ ေလာကုတၱရာတရား ကိုးပါး၌ ေမြ႔ေလ်ာ္ၾကကုန္၏။

၂၃။ ထိုပညာ႐ွိတို႔သည္ (သမထ ၀ိပႆနာ စ်ာန္ႏွစ္ပါးျဖင့္ ကိေလသာကို) ႐ႈိ႔ၿမႇိဳက္ကုန္ၿပီးလွ်င္ အျမဲမျပတ္ လံု႔လ ျပဳကုန္၍ မတြန္႔မဆုတ္ လံု႔လထုတ္ကုန္လ်က္ ေယာဂေလးပါး၏ကုန္ရာ အတုမ႐ွိျမတ္ေသာ နိဗၺာန္သို႔ ေရာက္ၾက ကုန္၏။

21. Awareness is the path to the deathless (Nibbana), unawareness, the path of death. Those who are aware do not die; those who are unaware are as if dead already.

22. Those who, with a clean mind have seen this truth, those who are wise and ever-watchful, they feel the joy of watchfulness, the joy of the path of the Noble Ones (Ariyas).

23. And the wise who devote themselves to meditation and in deep contemplation with ever-living power advance on the path, they in the end reach Nibbana, incomparable release from bonds.

24 Utthanavato satimato
  sucikammassa nisammakarino;
  saññatassa ca dhammajivino
  appamattassa yaso ’bhivaddhati.

  為(ㄨㄟˋ)有奮起[1]具念[2]、慎重作、已完全止息、及活命在法之中的淨業[3],未放逸者的名譽全面增長。

25 Utthanen’ appamadena
  saññamena damena ca;
  dipam kayiratha medhavi,
  yam ogho nabhikirati.

  以奮起、不放逸、完全止息,及以調伏,有智者作洲;洪水[4]不淹沒他。

၂၄။ ဥ႒ာန၀ေတာ သတီမေတာ၊ သုစိကမၼႆ နိသမၼကာရိေနာ။
သညတႆ ဓမၼဇီ၀ိေနာ၊ အပၸမတၱႆ ယေသာဘိ၀ၯုတိ။

၂၄။ ထႂကြလံု႔လရွိသူ၊ သတိရွိသူ၊ စင္ၾကယ္ေသာကံ သံုးပါး႐ွိသူ၊ စူးစမ္း၍ျပဳေလ့႐ွိသူ (ဣေႁႏၵကို) ေစာင့္စည္းသူ၊ တရားသျဖင့္ အသက္ေမြးသူ၊ မေမ့ေလ်ာ့သူအား အေႁခြအရံ အေက်ာ္အေစာသည္ တိုးပြား၏။

24. Energetic, alert, ever mindful, pure in deed, careful in action, self-controlled, living in accordance with truth (right livelihood), that person will arise in glory.

၂၅။ ဥ႒ာေနနပၸမာေဒန၊ သံယေမန ဒေမန စ။
ဒီပံ ကယိရာထ ေမဓာ၀ီ၊ ယံ ၾသေဃာ နာဘိကီရတိ။

၂၅။ ထႂကြလံု႔လႏွင့္လည္းေကာင္း၊ မေမ့ေလ်ာ့ျခင္းႏွင့္ လည္းေကာင္း၊ (သီလ) ေစာင့္စည္းျခင္း ႏွင့္လည္းေကာင္း၊ (ဣေႁႏၵကို) ဆံုးမျခင္းႏွင့္ လည္းေကာင္း ျပည့္စံုေသာ ပညာ႐ွိသည္ သံသရာတည္းဟူေသာ သမုဒၵရာ၌ အရဟတၱဖိုလ္တည္းဟူေသာ မီွခိုရာကြၽန္းကို ျပဳလုပ္ရာ၏၊ ယင္းသည့္ ကြၽန္းကို ကိေလသာေရလ်ဥ္သည္ မဖ်က္ဆီးႏုိင္ေတာ့ျပီ။

25. By earnestness, by mindfulness, by restraint and self-control (with regard to moral precepts), the wise man could make an island (in the sea of mental defilements) that a flood of passion cannot sweep away.

26 Pamadam anuyuñjanti,
  bala dummedhino jana;
  appamadañ ca medhavi,
  dhanam settham va rakkhati.

  無知、有惡智的諸人,隨致力[1]放逸;但是有智者[隨致力]不放逸,如護最勝的財。

27 Ma pamadam anuyuñjetha,
  ma kamaratisanthavam;
  appamatto hi jhayanto,
  pappoti vipulam sukham.

  ma [kamarati欲的喜樂][santhavam親近(陽單業格)];

  你們應不要隨致力放逸,[]不要[隨致力]親近欲的喜樂;因為未放逸的正在禪那者,得達廣大的樂。

၂၇။ မာ ပမာဒမႏုယုေဥၨထ၊ မာ ကာမရတိသႏၴ၀ံ။
အပၸမေတၱာ ဟိ စ်ာယေႏၲာ၊ ပေပၸါတိ ၀ိပုလံ သုခံ။

၂၆။ ပညာမဲ့၍ မိုက္ေသာသူတို႔သည္ ေမ့ေလ်ာ့မႈကို အားထုတ္ၾကကုန္၏၊ ပညာ႐ိွသည္ကား မေမ့ေလ်ာ့ျခင္းကို အျမတ္ဆံုး ဥစၥာကဲ့သို႕ ေစာင့္ေ႐ွာက္၏။

၂၇။ ထို႔ေၾကာင့္ သင္တို႔သည္ ေမ့ေလ်ာ့မႈကို အားမထုတ္ၾကကုန္လင့္၊ ကာမတို႔၌ ေမြ႔ေလ်ာ္မႈဟုဆိုေသာ တဏွာႏွင့္ အကြၽမ္း၀င္မႈကို အားမထုတ္ၾကကုန္လင့္၊ အဘယ့္ေၾကာင့္ဆိုေသာ္ မေမ့မေလ်ာ့ (သမထ ၀ိပႆနာ စ်ာန္ႏွစ္ပါးျဖင့္ ကိေလသာကို) ႐ႈိ႔ျမိႇဳက္တတ္ေသာသူသည္ ျမတ္ေသာ (နိဗၺာန္)ခ်မ္းသာသို႔ ေရာက္ႏုိင္ေသာေၾကာင့္တည္း။

26. Foolish and unintelligent people engage in unawareness. But the wise one guards awareness like the greatest treasure.

27. Do not indulge in negligence, do not be intimate with attachment to lust and desires. The vigilant one who is established in mindfulness and aware can gain Nibbana, the joy supreme.

28 Pamadam appamadena,
  yada nudati pandito;
  paññapasadam aruyha,
  asoko sokinim pajam;
  pabbatattho va bhummatthe,
  dhiro bale avekkhati.

  當賢智者以不放逸破除放逸時,登上[1]的高樓後,無悲傷,[觀察]悲傷的世代子孫;如站立於山的賢明者,觀察站立於地的諸無知者。

29 Appamatto pamattesu,
  suttesu bahujagaro;
  abalassam va sighasso,
  hitva yati sumedhaso.

  在諸已放逸者之中未放逸,在諸已睡眠者之中多清醒,非常有智者[2]如快馬,捨棄無強力的馬後行走。

30 Appamadena Maghava
  devanam setthatam gato;
  appamadam pasamsanti,
  pamado garahito sada.

  摩伽[3]因不放逸,已去到諸天的最勝的狀態;他們稱讚不放逸,放逸經常已被譴責。

ပဗၺတေ႒ာ၀ ဘူမေ႒၊ ဓီေရာ ဗာေလ အေ၀ကၡတိ။

၂၈။ ပညာ႐ွိသည္ ေမ့ေလ်ာ့မႈကို မေမ့ေလ်ာ့မႈျဖင့္ ပယ္ေဖ်ာက္၏၊ စိုးရိမ္မႈကင္းေသာ ရဟႏၲာ သည္ ဒိဗၺစကၡဳဟုဆိုအပ္ေသာ ပညာျပာသာဒ္ထက္သို႔တက္၍ စိုးရိမ္မႈ႐ွိေသာ သတၱ၀ါအေပါင္းကို ႐ႈၾကည့္၏၊ ေတာင္ထိပ္၌တည္ေသာသူသည္ ေျမျပင္၌တည္ေသာသူတို႔ကို ႐ႈၾကည့္သကဲ့သို႔ ပညာ႐ွိ ရဟႏၲာသည္ (ပုထုဇဥ္)သူမိုက္တို႔ကို ႐ႈၾကည့္၏။

28. The wise expels unawareness by awareness, negligence by vigilance, climbing the tower of wisdom, sorrow less, the wise one (the Arahant) looks down upon the sorrowing crowd as one standing on the mountain looks down those standing on the ground below.

၂၉။ အပၸမေတၱာ ပမေတၱသု၊ သေတၱသု ဗဟုဇာဂေရာ။
အဗလႆံ၀ သီဃေႆာ၊ ဟိတြာ ယာတိ သုေမဓေသာ။

၂၉။ လ်င္ျမန္ေသာျမင္းသည္ ခြန္အားနည္းေသာျမင္းကို ခ်န္၍ သြားသကဲ့သို႔၊ ေမ့ေလ်ာ့သူ အေပါင္းတို႔တြင္ မေမ့ေလ်ာ့ေသာပညာ႐ွိသည္ ေမ့ေလ်ာ့သူကိုခ်န္ထား၍ သြား၏၊ သတိလြတ္ကင္း ႏိိုးၾကားျခင္း မ႐ွိသူ အေပါင္းတို႔တြင္ သတိပြားမ်ား ႏုိးၾကားသူသည္ (သတိလြတ္ကင္း ႏိုးၾကားျခင္း မ႐ွိသူမ်ားကို) စြန္႔ထား၍သြား၏။

29. Watchful among the unwatchful, vigilant among the heedless, the wise man like a swift horse runs his race, outrunning those leaving behind who are slow.

၃၀။ အပၸမာေဒန မဃ၀ါ၊ ေဒ၀ါနံ ေသ႒တံ ဂေတာ။
အပၸမာဒံ ပသံသႏၲိ၊ ပမာေဒါ ဂရဟိေတာ သဒါ။

၃၀။ မာဃလုလင္သည္ (ကုသိုလ္ေကာင္းမႈ၌) မေမ့ေလ်ာ့ျခင္းေၾကာင့္ နတ္တို႔၏ အထြတ္အထိပ္သို႔ေရာက္၏၊ (ပညာ႐ွိတို႔သည္ ကုသုိလ္ေကာင္းမႈ၌) မေမ့ေလ်ာ့ျခင္းကို ခ်ီးမြမ္းကုန္၏၊ (ကုသိုလ္ ေကာင္းမႈ၌) ေမ့ေလ်ာ့ျခင္းကို အခါခပ္သိမ္း ကဲ့ရဲ႕အပ္၏။

30. Magha young man rose to the lordship of the gods by mindfulness (in doing meritorious deeds). The wise praise earnestness; negligence in doing virtuous deeds is always blamed.

31 Appamadarato bhikkhu,
  pamade bhayadassi va;
  saññojanam anum thulam,
  daham aggi va gacchati.

  比丘已喜樂不放逸,或在放逸時視為恐懼,如正在燒的火,去到小的、大的結合[1]

32 Appamadarato bhikkhu,
  pamade bhayadassi va;
  abhabbo parihanaya,
  nibbanass’ eva santike.

[Appamada不放逸][rato喜樂(陽單主格, pp.)] [bhikkhu比丘(陽單主格)],
  [pamade放逸(陽單處格)] [bhayadassi視為恐懼(陽單主格, a.)] [va];
  [abhabbo不可能(陽單主格, a.)] [parihanaya遍減少(中單與格)],
  [nibbanass’涅槃(中單屬格)] [eva如此] [santike附近(中單處格)]. (cp. Dh31) (cf. A ii40)

  比丘喜樂不放逸,或在放逸時視為恐懼;不可能遍減少[不放逸]者,如此在涅槃的附近。

၃၁။ မီးသည္ ၾကီးငယ္မေ႐ွာင္ ေလာင္စာဟူသမွ်ကို ေလာင္ကြၽမ္းသကဲ့သို႔ မေမ့ေလ်ာ့မႈ၌ ေမြ႔ေလ်ာ္၍ ေမ့ေလ်ာ့မႈ၌ ေဘးဟု ႐ႈေလ့႐ွိေသာ ရဟန္းသည္ ၾကီးငယ္မဟူ သံေယာဇဥ္အားလံုးကို ေလာင္ကြၽမ္းေစလ်က္ (နိဗၺာန္သို႔)သြား၏။

31. The monk who delights in awareness and fears negligence goes to Nibbana destroying all fetters like a fire burning all obstacles both great and small.

၃၂။ အပၸမာဒရေတာ ဘိကၡဳ၊ ပမာေဒ ဘယဒႆိ ၀ါ။
အဘေဗၺာ ပရိဟာနာယ၊ နိဗၺာနေႆ၀ သႏၲိေက။

၃၂။ မေမ့ေလ်ာ့မႈ၌ ေမြ႔ေလ်ာ္၍ ေမ့ေလ်ာ့မႈ၌ ေဘးဟု ႐ႈေလ့႐ွိေသာ ရဟန္းသည္ (မဂ္ဖိုလ္တို႔မွ) ဆုတ္ယုတ္ျခင္းငွါ မထိုက္၊ နိဗၺာန္၏ အနီး၌သာလွ်င္ ျဖစ္၏။

32. The monk who delights in awareness and fears in negligence cannot fall away (from his perfect state) – he is very close upon Nibbana.
