၂၇၄။ ဧေသ၀ မေဂၢါ နတၳေညာ၊ ဒႆနႆ ၀ိသုဒၶိယာ။
ဧတဥႇိ တုေမွ ပဋိပဇၨထ၊ မာရေႆတံ ပေမာဟနံ။

၂၇၅။ ဧတဥႇိ တုေမွ ပဋိပႏၷာ၊ ဒုကၡႆႏၲံ ကရိႆထ။
အကၡာေတာ ေ၀ါ မယာ မေဂၢါ၊ အညာယ သလႅကႏၲနံ။

၂၇၆။ တုေမွဟိ ကိစၥမာတပၸံ၊ အကၡာတာေရာ တထာဂတာ။
ပဋိပႏၷာ ပေမာကၡႏၲိ၊ စ်ာယိေနာ မာရဗႏၶနာ။

၂၇၃။ လမ္းခရီးအားလံုးတြင္ အဂၤါ႐ွစ္ပါး႐ွိေသာ လမ္းခရီးမဂ္သည္ အျမတ္ဆံုးျဖစ္၏၊ သစၥာအားလံုးတုိ႔တြင္ အရိယသစၥာေလးပါးသည္ အျမတ္ဆံုးျဖစ္၏၊ သေဘာတရားအားလံုးတို႔တြင္ ရာဂကင္းရာ နိဗၺာန္သည္ အျမတ္ဆံုးျဖစ္၏၊ အေျခႏွစ္ေခ်ာင္း႐ွိေသာ သတၱ၀ါအားလံုးတို႔တြင္ မ်က္စိငါးပါး႐ွိေတာ္မူေသာ ျမတ္စြာဘုရားသည္ အျမတ္ဆံုးျဖစ္၏။

၂၇၄။ ဤအဂၤါ႐ွစ္ပါး႐ွိေသာ လမ္းခရီးမဂ္သည္သာလွ်င္ ဉာဏ္အျမင္ စင္ၾကယ္ျခင္းအတြက္ ခရီးမွန္ျဖစ္၏၊ ဤလမ္းခရီးမဂ္မွ တစ္ပါးေသာခရီးသည္ မ႐ွိေတာ့ျပီ၊ ထို႔ေၾကာင့္ သင္တို႔သည္ ဤခရီးမွန္ကိုသာ သြားၾကကုန္ေလာ့၊ ဤခရီးမွန္သည္ မာရ္မင္းမျမင္ႏုိင္ေသာ လမ္းခရီးတည္း။

၂၇၅။ သင္တုိ႔သည္ ဤမဂ္ဟူေသာလမ္းမွန္ကို သြားၾကကုန္သည္႐ွိေသာ္ ဆင္းရဲအဆံုးကို ျပဳရကုန္လတၱံ႔၊ ငါသည္ ရာဂစေသာ ဆူးေျငာင့္ကင္းေသာလမ္းမွန္ကို ကိုယ္တိုင္သိ၍ သင္တို႔ အား မဂ္ဟူေသာလမ္းမွန္ကို ညႊန္ၾကားအပ္ၿပီ။

၂၇၆။ သင္တို႔သည္ ကိုယ္တိုင္ျပဳဖြယ္ကိစၥကို အားထုတ္ၾကကုန္ေလာ့၊ ဘုရား႐ွင္တို႔သည္ လမ္းမွန္ကို ၫႊန္ၾကား႐ုံမွ် ျဖစ္ကုန္၏၊ က်င့္ၾကကုန္၍ ကိေလသာကို ႐ႈိ႔ၿမႇဳိက္ၾကသူတို႔သည္သာ မာရ္မင္း အေႏွာင္အဖြဲ႔မွ လြတ္ေျမာက္ႏုိင္ကုန္၏။

273. Of all the paths, the Eightfold Path is the best. Of truths, the Four Noble truths are the best. Detachment (Passionless ness) is the best of principles; and of two-footed persons, Buddha, the Man of Vision who has eyes to see insight.

274. This is the Path; there is no other that leads to Purity of Vision. Go along this path; this is what Mara can't see.
275. If you go on this way you will make an end of suffering. I showed this way when I had understood the removal of darts and thorn (of lust, passions) as cravings.

276. You yourself must make an effort. Buddhas (The Awakened Ones) only show the path. For those meditative ones who enter this path are free from the bondage of Mara.

  saccanam caturo pada,
  virago settho dhammanam,
  dipadanañ ca cakkhuma.

274 Es’eva maggo natth’ añño,
  dassanassa visuddhiya,
  etam hi tumhe patipajjatha,
  Marass’etam pamohanam.

275 Etam hi tumhe patipanna,
  dukkhass’antam karissatha,
  akkhato ve maya maggo,
  aññaya sallasanthanam.

276 Tumhehi kiccam atappam,
  akkhataro Tathagata;
  patipanna pamokkhanti,
  jhayino Marabandhana.

၂၇၇။ အၾကင္အခါ ႐ုပ္နာမ္ဓမၼ သခၤါရအားလံုးတို႔သည္ အျမဲမ႐ွိကုန္ဟု ၀ိပႆနာပညာျဖင့္ ႐ႈျမင္ႏုိင္၏၊ ထိုအခါ ႐ုပ္နာမ္ဓမၼသခၤါရဟူေသာ ဒုကၡ၌ ျငီးေငြ႔၏။ ဤၿငီးေငြ႔ျခင္းသည္ ကိေလသာ စင္ၾကယ္ရာနိဗၺာန္၏ အေၾကာင္းျဖစ္၏။

277. Through Vipassana wisdom (pyin nyar) one sees by insight that all Conditioned things, sankharas are transient. Then one becomes bored and disgusted with sankharas which are impermanent. This boredom is the cause of pursuing Nibbana.

၂၇၈။ သေဗၺ သခၤါရာ ဒုကၡာတိ၊ ယဒါ ပညာယ ပႆတိ။
အထ နိဗၺိႏၵတိ ဒုေကၡ၊ ဧသ မေဂၢါ ၀ိသုဒၶိယာ။


၂၇၈။ အၾကင္အခါ ႐ုပ္နာမ္ဓမၼ သခၤါရအားလံုးတို႔သည္ ဆင္းရဲကုန္၏ဟု ၀ိပႆနာပညာျဖင့္ ႐ႈျမင္ႏုိင္၏၊ ထိုအခါ ႐ုပ္နာမ္ဓမၼသခၤါရဟူေသာ ဒုကၡ၌ ျငီးေငြ႔၏။ ဤၿငီးေငြ႔ျခင္းသည္ ကိေလသာ စင္ၾကယ္ရာနိဗၺာန္၏ အေၾကာင္းျဖစ္၏။

၂၇၉။ အၾကင္အခါ သဘာ၀တရားအားလံုးတို႔သည္ အတၱ မဟုတ္ကုန္ဟု ၀ိပႆနာပညာျဖင့္ ႐ႈျမင္ႏုိင္၏၊ ထိုအခါ ႐ုပ္နာမ္ဓမၼသခၤါရဟူေသာ ဒုကၡ၌ ျငီးေငြ႔၏။ ဤၿငီးေငြ႔ျခင္းသည္ ကိေလသာ စင္ၾကယ္ရာနိဗၺာန္၏ အေၾကာင္းျဖစ္၏။

279. Through Vipassana wisdom (pyin nyar) one sees by insight that all things, Dhamma are anatta which means 'no self'. Then one becomes bored and disgusted with sankharas which are impermanent. This boredom is the cause of pursuing Nibbana.

၂၈၀။ ဥ႒ာနကာလမွိ အႏု႒ဟာေနာ၊ ယု၀ါ ဗလီ အာလသိယံ ဥေပေတာ။
သံသႏၷသကၤပၸမေနာ ကုသီေတာ၊ ပညာယ မဂၢံ အလေသာ န ၀ိႏၵတိ။


၂၈၀။ ပ်ဳိမ်စ္ႏုထြား ခြန္အားႏွင့္ျပည့္စံုပါေသာ္လည္း ထႂကြသင့္ေသာအခါ၌ ထႂကြမႈလံု႔လမရွိဘဲ ပ်င္းရိထိုင္းမႈိင္းလ်က္ စိတ္အၾကံ၀ိတက္မ်ား၍ အလြန္ပ်င္းရိသူသည္ ပညာျဖင့္သာ ရယူႏိုင္ေသာ အရိယမဂ္ကို မရႏိုင္။

280. One does not arise and strive when it is time to rise and strive though young and strong but fills with laziness and lack of determination, that person does not reach enlightenment which can find only with right-mindedness (rational thinking).

  samsannasavkappamano kusito,
  paññaya maggam alaso na vindati.

  在奮起的時宜未正在奮起的強力的青年,已經歷懶惰,思惟的意已完全沈陷;懈怠者、懶惰者不知慧的道。

ဧေတ တေယာ ကမၼပေထ ၀ိေသာဓေယ၊ အာရာဓေယ မဂၢမိသိပၸေ၀ဒိတံ။


၂၈၁။ ၀စီဒုစ႐ိုက္ကို ေကာင္းစြာေရွာင္ၾကဥ္ျခင္းအားျဖင့္ ႏႈတ္ကိုအစဥ္ ေစာင့္ေရွာက္ရာ၏၊ စိတ္ျဖင့္ မေနာဒုစ႐ိုက္ကို ေစာင့္စည္းရာ၏၊ ကိုယ္ျဖင့္လည္း အကုသိုလ္ကိုမျပဳရာ၊ ထိုကမၼပထတရား သံုးပါးတို႔ကို သုတ္သင္ၿပီးလွ်င္ ျမတ္စြာဘုရားေဟာၾကားအပ္ေသာ မဂ္ကိုၿပီးေစရာ၏။

281. Always careful in speech (wa zi) and well restrain in mind (ma nor), and one should not do any harm with the body (kar ya). Make sure to purify all these three actions and fulfill the Path (to wisdom) made known by Buddha.

၂၈၂။ ေယာဂါ ေ၀ ဇာယတီ ဘူရိ၊ အေယာဂါ ဘူရိသခၤေယာ။
ဧတံ ေဒြဓာပထံ ဉတြာ၊ ဘ၀ါယ ၀ိဘ၀ါယ စ။
တထာတၱာနံ နိေ၀ေသယ်၊ ယထာ ဘူရိ ပ၀ၯုတိ။


၂၈၂။ ကမၼ႒ာန္းအာ႐ံု၌ အားထုတ္မႈလံု႔လေၾကာင့္ ပညာျဖစ္ပြား၏၊ အားထုတ္မႈ လံု႔လမရွိျခင္း ေၾကာင့္ ပညာကုန္ခန္း၏၊ ပညာျဖစ္ပြားျခင္း ပညာဆုတ္ယုတ္ျခင္း၏ ဤခရီးလမ္းႏွစ္သြယ္ကို သိ၍ အၾကင္လမ္းျဖင့္ ပညာတိုးပြား၏၊ ထိုလမ္းျဖင့္ မိမိကိုယ္ကို သိမ္းသြင္းရာ၏။

282. Wisdom arises through meditative effort; wisdom disappears through lack of effort; knowing this two-fold path of growth and decline, one should arrange oneself so that wisdom increases.

282 Yoga ve jayati bhuri,
  ayoga bhurisavkhayo;
  etam dvedhapatham ñatva,
  bhavaya vibhavaya ca,
  tath’ attanam niveseyya,
  yatha bhuri pavaddhati.

  智慧確實從致力被生,智慧的一起滅盡從無致力;知這二種道路代表變成[1]及代表離變成[2]後,如是應安頓自我,以便智慧徹底增長。

၂၈၄။ ယာ၀ ဟိ ၀နေထာ န ဆိဇၨတိ၊ အဏုမေတၱာပိ နရႆ နာရိသု။
ပဋိဗဒၶမေနာ၀ တာ၀ ေသာ၊ ၀ေစၦာ ခီရပေကာ၀ မာတရိ။


၂၈၃။ ရဟန္းတို႔ တဏွာတည္းဟူေသာေတာကို ခုတ္ျဖတ္ ၾကကုန္ေလာ့၊ ျပကေတ့သစ္ပင္ကို မခုတ္ျဖတ္ကုန္လင့္၊ တဏွာဟူေသာေတာေၾကာင့္ ဇာတိစေသာေဘး ျဖစ္၏၊ တဏွာဟူေသာ ေတာႀကီးေတာငယ္ကို ခုတ္ျဖတ္၍ တဏွာဟူေသာေတာမွ ထြက္ေျမာက္ၾကကုန္ေလာ့။

၂၈၄။ ႏို႔မခြဲေသးေသာ ႏြားငယ္သည္ အမိႏြားမသို႔ ကပ္သကဲ့သို႔ ေယာက်္ားအား မိန္းမတို႔၌ အနည္းငယ္မွ်ေသာ ကိေလသာေတာ မျပတ္ေသးသမွ် ထိုေယာက်္ားသည္ ကပ္ၿငိေသာစိတ္ရွိသည္ ျဖစ္၍သာလွ်င္ သံသရာသို႔ ကပ္ေရာက္၏။

283. O Bhikkhus, cut down the forest of desires, not a mere tree only! For the danger is in the forest. Because of desires and craving, round of rebirths happen. So cut down the forest and its undergrowth, make yourself free from desires.

284. As long as a man's desire for women, however little it may be, is not cut through, so long is his mind attached and death and rebirth of sankhara is prolonged as he is like a sucking calf tied to a mother cow.

283 Vanam chindatha ma rukkham,
  vanato jayate bhayam;
  chetva vanañ ca vanathañ ca,
  nibbana hotha bhikkhavo.

  請你們切斷願望[1],不要[切斷]樹;從願望,恐懼被生;切斷願望及心願[2]後,比丘們!請變成無願望者。

284 Yava hi vanatho na chijjati,
  anumatto pi narassa narisu,
  patibaddhamano va tava so,
  vaccho khirapako va matari.

၂၈၅။ တန္ေဆာင္မုန္းလရာသီ၌ လေရာင္ေၾကာင့္ပြင့္ေသာ ကုမုျဒာၾကာပန္းကို လက္ျဖင့္ျဖတ္သကဲ့သို႔ မိမိ၏ခ်စ္ျခင္းတဏွာကို ျဖတ္ေလာ့၊ ျမတ္စြာဘုရားသည္ နိဗၺာန္ကိုသာ ေဟာေတာ္မူအပ္၏၊ နိဗၺာန္သို႔ေရာက္ေၾကာင္း အ႒ဂႋကမဂ္ တရားကိုသာလွ်င္ ပြားမ်ားေလေလာ့။

285. Cut out the desire of love (ta hnar, ra ga) like you would an autumn lily by hand. Buddha showed the path of peace, Nibbana. Foster the Dhamma taught by Buddha to get to Nibbana.

၂၈၆။ ဣဓ ၀ႆံ ၀သိႆာမိ၊ ဣဓ ေဟမႏၲဂိမွိသု။
ဣတိ ဗာေလာ ၀ိစိေႏၲတိ၊ အႏၲရာယံ န ဗုဇၩတိ။


၂၈၆။ ဤအရပ္၌ မိုးအခါပတ္လံုးငါေနမည္၊ ဤအရပ္၌ ေဆာင္းအခါ ေႏြအခါတို႔ပတ္လံုး ငါေနမည္ဟု လူမိုက္သည္ အထူးထူးအေထြေထြ ၾကံစည္၏၊ ဘယ္အခါ ဘယ္အရပ္မွာ ငါေသမည္ဟု မိမိ၏ အသက္အႏၲရာယ္ကိုမူကား ထိုသူ မသိရွာေလ။

286. Here I will live during the rainy season, here in winter and summer (plans for the future) – so the foolish one thinks but he does not realize the danger of when and where he sees the death.

၂၈၇။ သားသမီး ကြၽဲႏြားဥစၥာတို႔ျဖင့္ ယစ္မူးေမ့ေလ်ာ့လ်က္ ကာမဂုဏ္တို႔၌ မရေသးသည္ကို ေတာင့္တရၿပီးသည္ကို တြယ္တာကပ္ၿငိသည့္ စိတ္ရွိေသာသူကို ႀကီးစြာေသာ ေရအလ်ဥ္သည္ အိပ္ေပ်ာ္ေနေသာရြာကို လႊမ္းမိုးတိုက္ယူ သြားသကဲ့သို႔ ေသမင္းသည္ သိမ္းယူသြား၏။

287. The person whose mind is in delight with possessions of the abundance of children, cattles and belongings; is carried away by death like a great flood carries off a sleeping village.

အႏၲေကနာဓိပႏၷႆ၊ နတၳိ ဉာတီသု တာဏတာ။

၂၈၉။ ဧတမတၳ၀သံ ဉတြာ၊ ပ႑ိေတာ သီလသံ၀ုေတာ။
နိဗၺာနဂမနံ မဂၢံ၊ ခိပၸေမ၀ ၀ိေသာဓေယ။


၂၈၈။ ေသမင္းႏွိပ္စက္ခံရသူအား ေသမင္းမွ ေစာင့္ေရွာက္ရန္အတြက္ သားသမီးတို႔ မရွိကုန္၊ အမိအဖတို႔လည္း မရွိကုန္၊ အေဆြခင္ပြန္းတို႔လည္း မရွိကုန္၊ ေဆြမ်ဳိးတို႔တြင္ ေစာင့္ေရွာက္ႏိုင္မည့္ သူလည္းမရွိ။

၂၈၉။ ဤအေၾကာင္းထူးကိုသိ၍ ပညာရွိသည္ သီလကိုေစာင့္စည္းလ်က္ နိဗၺာန္ေရာက္ေၾကာင္း အ႒ဂႋကမဂ္ကို လ်င္စြာသာလွ်င္ သုတ္သင္ရာ၏။

288. Children can give no protection, nor parents, nor yet spouses, there is no refuge in relatives, for the person whom death has seized.

289. The wise person with virtue who realizes this fact, would make the Path quickly that leads to Nibbana.

  nibbanagamanam maggam,
  khippam eva visodhaye.
