၁၁၆။ အဘိတၳေရထ ကလ်ာေဏ၊ ပါပါ စိတၱံ နိ၀ါရေယ။
ဒႏၶံ ဟိ ကေရာေတာ ပုညံ၊ ပါပသၼႎ ရမတီ မေနာ။

၁၁၆။ မေကာင္းမႈ၌စိတ္သည္ ေမြ႔ေလ်ာ္တတ္၍ ေကာင္းမႈျပဳေသာအခါ ႏုံ႔ေႏွးတတ္ရကား မေကာင္းမႈမွ စိတ္ကိုတားျမစ္၍ ကုသုိလ္ေကာင္းမႈတုိ႔ကို လ်င္ျမန္ေဆာစြာ ျပဳလုပ္ရာ၏။

116. Quicken to do good, keep the mind away from evil. The mind of one who is slow in doing well finds pleasure in evil.

၁၁၇။ ပါပေဥၥ ပုရိေသာ ကယိရာ၊ န နံ ကယိရာ ပုနပၸဳနံ။
န တမွိ ဆႏၵံ ကယိရာထ၊ ဒုေကၡာ ပါပႆ ဥစၥေယာ။

၁၁၇။ ပုဂိၢဳလ္သည္ မေကာင္းမႈ ျပဳမိေစကာမႉ ထိုမေကာင္းမႈကို ထပ္ကာထပ္ကာ မျပဳမိေစရာ၊ ထိုမေကာင္းမႈ၌ စိတ္အလုိဆႏၵကိုမျပဳရာ၊ မေကာင္းမႈကိုပြားေစျခင္းသည္ ဆင္းရဲ၏ အေၾကာင္းတည္း။

117. If a person does something wrong, let him not do it again and again. Let him not find the pleasure in his sin. A suffering is the accumulation of wrongdoings.

  papa cittam nivaraye;
  dandham hi karoto puññam,
  papasmim ramati mano.

၁၁၈။ ပုဂိၢဳလ္သည္ ေကာင္းမႈကိုျပဳျပီးေသာ္လည္း ထိုေကာင္းမႈကို ထပ္ကာထပ္ကာျပဳရာ၏၊ ထိုေကာင္းမႈ၌ စိတ္အလိုဆႏၵကို ျပဳရာ၏၊ ေကာင္းမႈကုိ ပြားေစျခင္းသည္ ခ်မ္းသာျခင္း၏ အေၾကာင္းတည္း။

118. If a person does something good, let him do it again and again. Let him rejoice therein; prosperity is the accumulation of good deeds.

၁၁၉။ မေကာင္းမႈျပဳေသာသူပင္ ျဖစ္ေသာ္လည္း မေကာင္းမႈ အက်ဳိးမေပးေသးသေ႐ြ႔ ကာလပတ္လံုး ေကာင္းျမတ္ေသာအာ႐ုံကို ေတြ႔ျမင္ႏုိင္ေသး၏၊ မေကာင္းမႈအက်ဳိးေပးေသာ အခါ၌မူကား မေကာင္းမႈျပဳသူသည္ မေကာင္းက်ဳိးတို႔ကိုသာ ေတြ႔ျမင္ရေတာ့၏။

၁၂၀။ ေကာင္းမႈျပဳေသာသူပင္ ျဖစ္ေသာ္လည္း ေကာင္းမႈအက်ဳိး မေပးေသးသေ႐ြ႔ ကာလပတ္လံုး မေကာင္းေသာအာ႐ံုကို ေတြ႔ျမင္ႏုိင္ေသး၏၊ ေကာင္းမႈအက်ဳိးေပးေသာ အခါ၌မူကား ေကာင္းမႈျပဳသူသည္ ေကာင္းက်ဳိးတို႔ကုိသာ ေတြ႔ျမင္ရေလေတာ့၏။

119. Even an evil-doer sees delight as long as his evil deed has not ripened; but when his evil deed has ripened, then does the evil-doer see evil.

120. A man may find pain in doing good as long as his good deed has not given fruit; but when the fruit of good comes then that man finds good indeed.

၁၂၁။ အနည္းငယ္ေသာ မေကာင္းမႈသည္ ငါ့အားအက်ဳိးေရာက္လိမ့္မည္ မဟုတ္ဟု မေကာင္းမႈ ကို မထီမဲ့ျမင္ မေအာင့္ေမ့ရာ၊ မိုးေရေပါက္သည္ က်ဖန္မ်ားလတ္ေသာ္ ေရအိုးသည္ ျပည့္သကဲ့သို႔ သူမိုက္သည္ အနည္းငယ္ အနည္းငယ္မွ်ေသာ မေကာင္းမႈကို ျပဳဆည္းပူးဖန္မ်ားေသာ္ မေကာင္းမႈျဖင့္ ျပည့္၏။

121. Though it is a sin of little worth, do not think it will not affect you. Dripping water will in time fill a water pot drop by drop; a foolish man is filled with evil, even if one accumulates it little by little.

၁၂၂။ အနည္းငယ္ေသာေကာင္းမႈသည္ ငါ့အားအက်ဳိးေရာက္လိမ့္မည္ မဟုတ္ဟု ေကာင္းမႈကို မထီမဲ့ျမင္ မေအာင့္ေမ့ရာ၊ မိုးေရေပါက္သည္ က်ဖန္မ်ားလတ္ေသာ္ ေရအိုးသည္ ျပည့္သကဲ့သို႔ ပညာ႐ွိသည္ အနည္းငယ္ အနည္းငယ္မွ်ေသာ ေကာင္းမႈကို ျပဳဆည္းပူးဖန္မ်ားလတ္ေသာ္ ေကာင္းမႈျဖင့္ ျပည့္၏။

122. Though it is a deed of little worth, do not think it will not affect you. Dripping water will in time fill a water pot drop by drop; the one who is wise is filled with good, even if one accumulates it little by little.

၁၂၃။ အေဖာ္နည္းေသာ မ်ားေသာဥစၥာ႐ွိေသာကုန္သည္ၾကီးသည္ ေဘးအႏၲရာယ္မ်ားေသာ ခရီးကို ေ႐ွာင္ၾကဥ္သကဲ့သို႔ လည္းေကာင္း၊ အသက္႐ွင္လိုေသာသူသည္ လတ္တေလာ ေသေစတတ္ေသာအဆိပ္ကို ေ႐ွာင္ၾကဥ္သကဲ့သို႔လည္းေကာင္း ပညာ႐ွိသည္ မေကာင္းမႈကို ေ႐ွာင္ၾကဥ္ရာ၏။

123. Just as a wealthy merchant with many goods but with few companions avoids a dangerous road, and just as someone who loves his life avoids poison, a wise man should avoid all evils.

၁၂၄။ ပါဏိမွိ ေစ ၀ေဏာ နာႆ၊ ဟေရယ် ပါဏိနာ ၀ိသံ။
နာဗၺဏံ ၀ိသမေႏြတိ၊ နတၳိ ပါပံ အကုဗၺေတာ။


၁၂၄။ လက္၌အနာမ႐ွိလွ်င္ လက္ျဖင့္အဆိပ္ကို ကိုင္ေဆာင္ႏုိင္၏၊ အဆိပ္သည္ အနာမ႐ွိေသာ လက္သို႔ အစဥ္ မလိုက္၊ ေစတနာမ႐ွိဘဲ ျပဳေသာသူအား မေကာင္းမႈကံမည္သည္ မ႐ွိ။

124. If one who has no wound in his hand may touch poison by hand, his hand cannot be hurt by the poison, since poison hurts where there is no wound, the man who has no evil cannot be hurt by evil.

တေမ၀ ဗာလံ ပေစၥတိ ပါပံ၊ သုခုေမာ ရေဇာ ပဋိ၀ါတံ၀ ခိေတၱာ။


၁၂၅။ အၾကင္သူမိုက္သည္ မျပစ္မွားထိုက္ေသာ စင္ၾကယ္၍ ကိေလသာကင္းေသာ ရဟႏၲာ ပုဂၢဳိလ္အား ျပစ္မွား၏၊ ေလညာသို႔ပစ္လႊင့္အပ္ေသာ သိမ္ေမြ႔ေသာျမဴမႈန္သည္ ထိုပစ္လႊင္႔သူသို႔သာ ျပန္က်သကဲ့သို႔ မေကာင္းမႈသည္ ထိုသူမိုက္သို႔သာ ေ႐ွး႐ႈျပန္က်လာ၏။

125. If any foolish person who offends an innocent Ariya, the ill of that evil returns to this fool, like the dust thrown against the wind.

၁၂၆။ ဂဗၻေမေက ဥပၸဇၨႏၲိ၊ နိရယံ ပါပကမၼိေနာ။
သဂၢံ သုဂတိေနာ ယႏၲိ၊ ပရိနိဗၺႏၲိ အနာသ၀ါ။


၁၂၆။ အခ်ဳိ႕ေသာ သူတို႔သည္ ဤလူ႔ျပည္၌ အမိ၀မ္း၀ယ္ ပဋိသေႏၶေနရကုန္၏၊ မေကာင္းမႈ ျပဳသူတို႔သည္ ငရဲ၌ ျဖစ္ရကုန္၏၊ ေကာင္းေသာပညာ႐ွိတို႔သည္ နတ္ျပည္သို႔ ေရာက္ရကုန္၏၊ အာသေ၀ါကင္းေသာ ရဟႏၲာ ပုဂၢဳိလ္တို႔သည္ ပရိနိဗၺာန္စံရကုန္၏။

126. Some are born in a womb on earth, people who do evil are reborn in hell; those of good course go to heaven, people who are pure attain Nibbana.

  parinibbanti anasava.

၁၂၇။ မေကာင္းမႈျပဳသူသည္ ေကာင္းကင္၌ တည္ေနေသာ္ လည္းေကာင္း၊ သမုဒၵရာအလယ္၌ တည္ေနေသာ္ လည္းေကာင္း ေတာင္ေခါင္းသို႔၀င္၍ တည္ေနေသာ္လည္းေကာင္း မေကာင္းမႈမွ မလြတ္ရာ၊ အၾကင္အရပ္၌ တည္ေနေသာ္ မေကာင္းမႈမွ လြတ္ရာ၏၊ ထိုအရပ္မ်ဳိးကား မရွိႏုိင္ သည္သာတည္း။

127. There is no spot in the world for an evil doer; not in the sky, or in the ocean depths, or in a mountain-cave, where one can escape from evil deeds.

၁၂၈။ မေကာင္းမႈျပဳသူသည္ ေကာင္းကင္၌ တည္ေနေသာ္ လည္းေကာင္း၊ သမုဒၵရာအလယ္၌ တည္ေနေသာ္ လည္းေကာင္း၊ ေတာင္ေခါင္းသို႔၀င္၍ တည္ေနေသာ္လည္းေကာင္း ေသမင္းမွမလြတ္ရာ၊ အၾကင္အရပ္၌ တည္ေနေသာ္ ေသမင္းမွမညႇဥ္းဆဲႏုိင္ရာ၊ ထိုအရပ္မ်ဳိးကား မ႐ွိႏုိင္သည္သာတည္း။

128. There is no place in the world for an evil doer; not in the sky, or in the ocean depths, or in a mountain-cave, where one can be free from the power of death.

  na pabbatanam vivaram pavissa,
  na vijjati so jagatippadeso,
  yatthatthito muñceyya papakamma.
